Hub by Premier InnLondon Goodge Street

You can never go wrong with Premier Inn so I was excited to try the newer Hub version of the chain. Situated just off the Tottenham Court Road (a minute's walk from Goodge Street tube) it is the perfect bolt hole for exploring the city. Ten minute walk to Oxford Street, five minute walk to Soho, ten minute walk to Tottenham Court Road tube and on to Charing Cross Road. It's soundproofed - my room faced out on to Tottenham Court Road and apart from a very occasional, very distant Tube rumble (unavoidable in Central London) my room was silent. The service was excellent - I arrived at 11:30 and was offered an early check-in - with 24/7 complimentary tea and coffee in the first floor lounge. My room was clean and surprisingly large for the Hub concept! (I chose the bigger room option.) The lights etc are controlled by a headboard panel and you have electronically controlled window blinds which really do shut out the light at night. The price was incredible for such a well-placed location (and on a weekend!). My only two very minor ******* (hence the four stars) were that the room was a little worn round the edges, and the king size bed was actually two larger beds put together. Other than that - and these are very minor points - the bed was comfortable, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I would not hesitate to book again.

Visited the Hub in Westminster a few years ago so thought we’d try this one. Room was relatively clean but definitely looking tatty. Carpet stained, furniture knocked about a bit. But ok for a short stay. Bed not especially comfortable tbh. All in all it was ok. TV didn’t work the last night which was fine as we didn’t really use it but I guess a pain if you had kids. The reception areas were nice enough with coffee making facilities and comfy chairs. Staff were friendly enough and we were allowed to store our luggage at the hotel until we were due to go for our train at 5pm. Location good, not far from Goodge St tube and 10 mins from Russell Square. Loads of coffee shops, local pubs etc The hotel is actually next to Heals/West Elm so great if you love that kind of thing and 5 mins walk from a huge Waterstones. Area buzzing with youngsters ! It’s also quite attractive to wander through, nice Edwardian terraces, leafy streets and maybe 25 mins walk to Soho/Trafalgar square.

Room was very modern but with everything needed. Bed super comfy. Shower was fab with a waterfall head.

Fabulous position. Central to everywhere. Great fresh modern rooms. Easy no fuss checkin and access. Safe area and easy walking distance to Soho and Oxford Street.

Me and my teenage son. Accessible room, good size, very comfy bed, very clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Close to what we needed and also good transport links. Happily stay there again.

hub by Premier Inn are functional. They offer what you need for one or two nights stay, loosing the space. Unfortunately on this occasion the TV didnt work, but I only usually use it for background noise. The staff were really friendly.

Hub by Premier Inn at London Goodge Street is located in a very convenient location. It's just walking distance either to Goodge Street Underground Station or Tottenham Court Road Underground Station. This is my second time to stay at this Hub by Premier Inn. Front Desk Staff are always very attentive and helpful. I am happy to stay there for my recent visit to London.

A warm welcome, Helpful and caring staff - unusual for england - Too long to go into - but the service was so good, it felt like the staff had been trained very well, we saw how they were all able to use common sense in making good decisions by theirselves. Thank you for making us feel at home during our stay. We didn’t want to leave. I have never given 10/10 before for a hotel but this deserves it. Room super clean too. Great sleep quiet room no outside noise or interior doors slamming. Just a quiet nights sleep ( Best of all the windows had those spanish style shutters that make the room pitch black ) :D

Very week placed, just off Oxford Street. Perfect for a bit of shopping, the British museum and the Dominion Theatre. Very comfy bed, with the best blackout I have experienced in Central London, so slept like a log even in early summer. Good breakfast and a very fair price for central London. Suspect we will be back!
