The Adria

We just returned from a 5 night stay in London at this beautiful property! As others have mentioned,it is in a beautiful townhouse ,and it is more like staying in a beautiful home then a hotel. There are many stunningly decorated rooms in which you can relax after a day of exploring. The rooms are large and bright with high end linens and very comfortable beds! Location is excellent,many restaurants,shops and tube stations within easy walking distance. The south Kensington neighborhood is very charming. The staff was my favorite part of the Adria! Always available for anything you need,warm,friendly and helpful! There is no restaurant or dedicated bar. They have a breakfast room where a well thought out and delicious breakfast menu is offered. There is coffee,tea and wine available anytime ,to be enjoyed in your room or in the many first floor sitting areas. I would have enjoyed a bar and restaurant ,but knew going that it did not have one. I did want a martini one evening,so I walked across the street to the Kbar( in the Kensington Hotel), and they have a lovely cocktail bar! The only thing I would have preferred,is a key to get into the entrance. You have to ring the buzzer and wait for someone to come open it every time you return to the hotel. Don’t hesitate to book this wonderful hotel!! Cheers and happy travels❤️

A lovely stay at The Adria. We have stayed in may London hotels and this is certainly up there as the best! The staff were all attentive and respectful- nothing too much trouble. The room is large compared to many other hotels we have stayed in. The decor is beautiful. Spotlessly clean and everything worked exactly how it should. Great location with the tube down the road but very quiet at night. I can see how this hotel would suit families, couples and a solo traveller. For the price you can certainly pay more in London but get a lot less. Breakfast was lovely. We will be thank so thank you!

My sister and I had a stay here for one night and the service and attention to detail that we received was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and every effort was made to ensure we received the best possible experience during our stay. Some specific highlights included a tea on arrival whilst we were checked in, which after a few hours travel was appreciated and a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. The service and friendliness of the staff and their effort to please. The amenities available in the room and the cleanliness of the hotel. In the evening I called for some drinks to be delivered to the room, they didn’t have our first requests available, so an alternative was given complimentary, which was a lovely touch. I have stayed In many hotels in and around London and will be staying at the Adria, wherever possible, in the future. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Sebastian and his team at The Adria were impeccable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room of decent size and the bathroom was a beautiful marble finish. The various sitting areas throughout the hotel make for a perfect afternoon tea and pre dinner drink. The stay was nothing short of perfect and I can’t wait to go stay again!

Very nice and cosy hotel in a strategic position closed to South Kensington underground and many busses 15 minutes walkig distance from Knightsbridge or Sloan square Staff very kind and prompt to solve problems or answer any questions Perfect to visit London in a few days

Beautiful boutique hotel, with great service and breakfast. Loved my stay here-beautiful large room with wonderful service. Located in the heart of Kensington, its an excellent location as well. Outstanding breakfast and will stay here again!

Today we indulged in the epitome of elegance! Beautifully prepared delicacies served in a refined setting. We felt like each bite deserved its own description, some flavours I haven’t tried before all washed down with a fantastic selection of teas from around the world, one of my favourites being the Persian Rose. Oh and finishing off with a glass of bubbles! One of my favourite afternoon tea experiences in London. Thank you to the wonderful staff who together made the experience exceptional.

Beautifully renovated townhouse. Small, but excellent. The rooms were recently renovated and beautiful. Excellent, professional and friendly staff. Location is great, close to Hyde Park and the Museums. Breakfast and in-room dining are highly recommended. I will certainly visit again.

Gorgeous place to stay. The staff was superb. We loved our after dinner drinks in their variety of parlors. Convenient location with easy access to the underground. Heated floors in the bathroom. Such attention to detail! Highly recommended.
