Malliouhana Resort Anguilla

I’ve been to several hotels and resorts in the Caribbean and Malliouhana has become my favorite so far. The rooms are neat and clean with beautiful views, the staff is helpful, attentive and responsive, the on-site restaurants prepare excellent food (especially the breakfast and the ceviche at dinner), and the location is just amazing.

Spent a week at this resort. I have been to several luxury properties in the Caribbean. This has the best beach, soft sand, and calm swimming waters of any. Resort and staff are top notch. Resort is a few years old, extremely well maintained, but not as sparkly as the Four Seasons down the beach. However, I think this resort is much more charming and personable.

The world is a big place so I rarely return to the same destination, but there is one exception - Malliouhana Resort in Anguilla. I love the setting, the exquisite property and most of all I truly appreciate the extraordinary staff. People often ask me why I like Anguilla. The beaches are amazing, the restaurants are excellent, the weather is lovely but the real reason I love Anguilla is the Anguillans. On this island, locals make me feel like a welcome family friend and this is certainly true for the staff at Malliouhana. The property is just gorgeous, and nothing about it is cookie cutter. The restaurant is excellent, and I love, love, love Bar Soleil at any time of the day but especially at sunset. What a gorgeous experience to sit there, chat with other guests, listen to live music and enjoy a glass of something delicious during the golden hour. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed, super-comfy bed with every sort of pillow, fluffy towels, incredible patios and balconies, cleaned spotlessly twice a day and every evening a special surprise turndown treat. The beach is pure paradise, with Malliouhana's exceptional staff bringing cold bottled (boxed) water, iced tea and min fruit popsicles to your chair, or a menu if you'd like lunch delivered. Enjoy your mango popsicle as you wade into crystal clear water. Want some more solitude? Go to the other side to Malli's private beach for more of the same, with nothing but the sound of the water. The spa is gorgeous, and the fitness classes are the best - you'll feel more virtuous all day! Back at home I try to recreate the famous rum punch (mine isn't nowhere near as good!), and the fresh fish dinners (somehow less delicious without the water view). We will keep going back because Malliouhana and Anguilla are irresistible.

We had the most amazing time at Malliouhana. The staff went above and beyond to learn our names, get to know us, accommodate any request we had and were so nice, funny, and highly skilled. The property is breathtaking, room gorgeous, Meads Bay beach is pristine and the pool was an amazing place to end the day and watch the sunset. Can't wait to return.

Our family of five had the best stay here! The hotel is gorgeous and so clean. The views and sunsets were the best on the island. Our boys loved the turn down service treats and mango iced teas on the beach! The service everywhere was fantastic. Special shoutout to Glenica and the breakfast ladies who always started our days off with the most pleasant conversations and smiles. We also loved Didier on the beach - he was so on top of everything and great with the kids! I don’t think we ever even had to ask for water - he was always anticipating! We can’t wait to return!!

Our stay at Malliouhana Resort was amazing in every way. All of the staff was extremely nice, remembered our names, and greeted us every time. The staff was always willing to accommodate everything during our stay. They helped make our family vacation very memorable and relaxing. We highly recommend the Malliouhana Resort for all families looking for a fantastic hotel with amazing beach views, and just footsteps away from Meads Bay.

We loved our stay at the Malliouhana Resort. The property is beautifully landscaped, decorated and situated on a clifftop at the end of Mead's Bay. Rooms are large, comfortable, and well-maintained. Service is excellent and staff friendly. We especially enjoyed having breakfast at Celeste each morning overlooking the Bay.

Beaches were lovely, pools were clean and well attended (towels, drinks, treats, menu). Room was comfortable and so pretty. The staff were the stars of the show!! Kind, happy, attentive, and know your name.

The Malliouhana is a beautiful boutique-style upscale property on Meads Bay beach. It is at one end of the beach with a beatiful(somewhat private) cliff/beach area! The design is beautiful & the service is excellent! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if traveling to Anguilla!
