a disaster. it recently sold and now a major construction site, music blaring by the workers...and the courtyard, terrible toxic glue smell, they should NOT be taking reservations. the old owners were so nice. I would caution you to be very careful about booking here, call and ask if work is done

Booked a room at Bevonshire Lodge last minute after arriving in LA, it was one of the cheapest options available and available at the last minute. Is it a little bit dated? Yes. Is it in a clean, safe area? Yes. Is it up to 5 star standard? Of course not, but the sheets were clean and maid service came in daily. I’ve also seen a couple of reviews about the man who works on reception being rude etc - in my experience he was really helpful and pleasant, I locked myself out of my room a couple of times, he gave me spare keys, the toilet was blocked, it was fixed straight away - he let me check out a little late and even stored my baggage (there’s no official storage facility) for me whilst I ran around doing a couple of things last minute before I left. If you want basic and budget friendly in a decent area (quick to walk to the grove, plenty places around) then you’ll be fine here.

Spent just a night here. When I called to ask about check in time the clerk kindly reminded me that if I check in late there may not be a parking space available. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked. The price was what I was told at booking. It was a weekday and the hotel was quiet.

Disappointing. I would have given ONE if it wasn’t for the location and the fact they allowed me to check in a bit earlier. This lodge needs some serious work. Carpet smells and it’s dirty. Shower has little water. Rooms are noisy, you hear people walking in the room upstairs; rooms beside and from the street. I got bitten by an insect while sleeping. So, I do not recommend it.

可もなく不可もなく価格に見合ったモテルです。 夜に着いて、翌朝早く出かけるのに、寝るだけ、節約のために選びました。 駐車場は無料でした。 駐車場の予約はできない、車の大きさに制限があるとのことでしたが、大型のSUVでなければほとんど停められると思います。 事前に高さの詳細をメールで問い合わせましたが返事はありませんでした。しかも2回。 受付に人はおらず、呼び鈴を鳴らすとおじいちゃんが出てきてくれました！ 部屋は想像通り、古く、質素。水回りもガタガタで、タオルもボロボロです。チープなシャンプーや石鹸がありました。持参した方が良いです。 唯一の良い点はとても広いことと、Wi-Fiが十分なスピードでつかえることです。 ヘアドライヤーは見当たりませんでした。夜遅かったのでリクエストしませんでした。 立地は徒歩圏にグローブ、ファーマーズマーケットがあるのと、斜め向かいにオーガニックスーパーがあり便利です。すぐ隣にカジュアルなカフェ、レストランがあり、私は利用しませんでしたが夜遅くまで開いていて人気のお店のようでした。 この立地でこの値段、無くならないでほしいです。
