The first time I saw "Los Roques" from the window of a plane I knew I would always want to return. From above, the coral and blue barrier disturbs the senses.
Its nuances, its air of solitude and the very fact of landing next to the sea, a stone's throw from the town, draw attention. When you arrive, the breeze and the heat hit at the same time, so you take off your shoes and start walking through those sandy streets of Gran Roque, the only populated island in the archipelago, where there are no noises that bother you, except for some . . song that comes from one of the houses or the happy laughter of a child who runs carelessly.
Los Roques is summarized in a minimum point on the map and is, without effort, the most exclusive destination in "Venezuela". It was named a National Park in 1972 to protect its coral life and the beauty of its landscape.
There are more than 50 islands to visit, but many already come with some names written: "Cayo Francisquí", "Cayo Madrisquí", "Cayo Crasquí", "Cayo de Agua".
"Cayo Muerto", "Cayo Pirata", "Cayo Fabián". Then, they let themselves go because they instantly discover that there is no rush; that in that town, although small, very small, life passes peacefully.

It should not be surprising, then, that it is the third most virgin National Park in the world and that tourists from all over come to it, attracted by its blue, its stillness and its tropical climate all year round.
On the Caribbean island of Los Roques, Posada Guaripete offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Excursions to nearby islands can be arranged. The beach is 15 minutes away by car. No contraten comida en esta posada, nada que ver, el snack que mandan a la playa en una cava es deficiente, terrible experiencia, la cena ofrece una porción de proteína de 50 a 60 gramos, el desayuno, digno de hospital, es preferible pagar en los cayos la comida a los vendedores y desayunar y cenar empanada en el pueblo

Estuve en la posada Guaripete con mi esposo por 4 días y fue precioso. El lugar muy acogedor y el trato de la Sra Tiziana muy agradable 😍. La comida es fantástica. Creo que el precio con la calidad de todo está súper bien. Sin duda volvería una y otra vez a esta posada.
