The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is quite dated and the front desk is manned at limited times of the day.

Generally the hotel was ok but my first night I arrived late and was placed in a room with no heating on a cold night. The air con was not working and they had placed a small oil heater in the room but it seemed to switch off after 15mins. I had a very cold and restless night. When I raised it the next morning they dealt with it well and I was moved to a much better room.

Amazing location in lovely village. lovely old building. room quirky but cosy, breakfast very good. staff were just lovely The lower mark was for the cobwebs everywhere.

Great hotel for what we needed which was a local wedding. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

First time at this hotel. Room and bathroom good. Good location. Plenty car parking. Food very average. Poor service and grumpy or moody staff. Its all in the detail.

Hotel is tired and in need of major upkeep. Breakfast was well below average.
Ok for a place to sleep for a night but would not recommend for any length of time

Lovely place to stay. Room was large and comfortable. Plenty of car parking space. Could do with an electric car charge point.

Breakfast was great, perfect poached egg.
Friendly and helpful staff. Linen is very clean and crisp.
A few cobwebs near wardrobe and the odd mark on carpet but overall very satisfied. Thank you

hotel had been excellent when we previously visited prior to covid. However maintenence was sadly lacking. we booked an upgrade following email from hotel only to find no heating or hot water in exec double rooms. moved to older part of hotel which although had heating was not as nice as newer parts of hotel. Probelm getting suitable plug for bath. Staff very helpful but hamstrung by poor maintenence. considering what we paid we wouldnt stay there again.
