Orchard House B&B

Our suite, the food & property were absolutely the best I've stayed at! I have a gluten allergy and they accommodated my dietary needs. My son who is a Marine is getting ready to deploy for a year, so we carved out 4 days during his short leave for some R&R and memory making! Deb & Mike were super helpful on suggesting areas of interest! I honestly can't think of one negative or area of improvement needed! We had a lot of spontaneous rain showers but thanks to the covered porches we were able to still enjoy our time outside. We stayed in the Farmhouse located on the property and loved our morning walks up to the big house for breakfast. We also enjoyed using the farmhouse kichen to cook a few meals & the living room to play our board games!

All I can say is WOW! What a lovely bed and breakfast. I stayed in the smaller house on the property with some friends. The new owner, Lisa, is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed the cider and wine tastings in the new barn. The breakfast was delicious. Her hospitality is top notch and I can’t wait to visit again!

Comfortable, clean with a killer breakfast and amazing barn with yummy flights and friendly fast service! Love the new owners. Lisa and her husband were gracious and accommodating, we will definitely come back over and over again. Best weekend ever.

Thankful for such a beautiful get away as Orchard House Bed and Breakfast. Right off the highway, but you can relax on the large front porch and feel like your in the country. The breakfast was tasty and made even better when the owner, Lisa, offered to serve us on the front porch. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. The Lynch family are working very hard at making this a special destination. Lisa was only a phone call away to answer questions. She made our trip the best and we plan to return to this wonderful escape.

Quaint home with friendly hosts. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, beautiful grounds. I would recommend the wine they had onsite, it was delicious. Plenty to do in the area and not too far from the university. The hosts were accommodating of our requests and very responsive with communication.

First of all, prior to my arrival, I had left several messages a month before arrival so I could get some information on the spa package I had purchased but no one returned my phone call. I got a phone call a day prior just to find out that there are new owners. I booked the Bed and Breakfast because of the reviews and chef breakfast. The first morning, I had asked if we could have our breakfast at 8:00 am. The owner accommodated but you could tell that she was not happy having to get up early to make us breakfast. When I asked if we could have breakfast again at 8:00, she said no and proceeded to tell me that she accommodated the day before but that is not common and that her son was playing in a football game so it was going to be a long night for her. The website clearly says breakfast is served between 8:30-9:30 but we weren’t offered any alternatives or even a to-go box. So FYI apparently breakfast is at 9:30 am. 2. My room was given 2 towels for 2 people for 4 days and one toilet paper roll. I texted her for extra towels. Crickets! I never heard from her so I had to find a towel to use. Because there wasn’t any breakfast, decided to heat up a pie in the guest microwave near the kitchen. When I opened up the microwave door, there was food that was in there for awhile with about 13 gnats. It was very disgusting. Also, she does not live on the property so it is like staying at a hotel without a manager or staying in an Airbnb. You will not get the hospitality and that personal touch that you may be looking for in a Bed and Breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay! Deb and Mike are phenomenal hosts. The breakfasts were outstanding, the room was comfortable, location was close to many excursions. You could also have no trouble staying on site and relaxing on the porch, at the pool or at many of the other sitting areas around the property or in the house. Mike and Deb also had a wonderful knowledge of the area and had great recommendations of places to go.

So happy I found this place. We have family with property close to here and needed a place to stay for a couple of days. The room was comfortable and quiet. Mike and Deb are terrific hosts, providing us with a fantastic breakfast and great recommendations for dinner and breweries in the area. We will definitely be back.

Deb and Mike are a kind, classy, and down to earth couple! They are very friendly, funny, and helpful while still respecting your privacy. We booked Sunday to Wednesday and had most of the houses to ourselves which was very nice and relaxing. Our room (the Gala room) was cozy. We especially appreciated having a recliner. Mike will serve you breakfasts that are gourmet quality but with southern-sized portions. Trust me, you won't walk away from breakfasts hungry. The grounds are also beautiful and lend themselves to romantic walks or to sitting down just to relax and enjoy the scenery. We couldn't recommend this place enough!
