A Hotel, Ludhiana

My stay was excellent. The reception staff were very helpful, and i was even upgraded to a premium room. Service was quick, and the food quality was exceptional.

A hotel is a good hotel though i had a major issue with bathroom facilities. The rooms are clean, though a bit dated, with some chipping of wood furniture, etc. The tv did not work. Linens were clean and nice and so were the tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was also quite good and they made eggs to order and had some south indian dishes (idli and upma) on the breakfast menu. The staff were helpful and friendly right through. However, the bathroom in my room (507) was abysmal. The mixer didn't seem to work and all i got was a trickle of hot water. Having realised this once in the bath, there was little i could do. Clearly, their bathroom facilities require maintenance. The towel didn't seem very fresh too. Toiletries were decent and there was soap, dental and shaving toiletries available. I also had dinner at their kylin restaurant that has branches in delhi and gurgaon and specialises in asian cuisine. Service was good, though despite asking for a non-spicy bowl of some korean dish i got a very spicy one. Kylin has also has excellent restobar and seemed to have a good crowd. A hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor where breakfast is served as well as a barista outlet.
