Travelled to Hereford for work and I've stayed here before, but never done a review. Stayed in the cottage this time it was great everything we needed clean tidy and warm nice shower to ,food was great and staff went the extra mile to help. will stay there again

I travelled to Hereford for work, Godwin happen to be a 6mins drive from the site I visited. It was your typical, contemporary hotel setting, but it did have a lovely service, the food was good and had a nice scenery. Would definitely visit again the next time I'm there.

Had overnight stay on June 1st as we were attending a family party at Bartestree village hall 2 minutes away Arrived at around 2pm. Room was available and we were shown up to it by a very pleasant and friendly lady. We went into the bar for a drink and were looked after by the same lady. There was some proper local brewed bitter which was really good. The room was full of character and lovely and clean. Bathroom was spotless and had complimentary toiletries available. The whole place is " quirky" and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would return.

We had a very comfortable night, the staff were very friendly and the evening meal was good, we had the Lasagne and the house burger and we were not disappointed. The hotel itself is located just outside Hereford and this suited us just fine, oh and there is plenty of parking..

Lovely hotel, would recommend to anyone staying around the area. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was gorgeous, wish we had spent more than 1 night, will definitely go back.

Lovely looking property, friendly staff when I arrived on site, check in at the bar on the right. Room 2 was clean with good facilities, hairdryer, mini fridge, TV. Choice of hot drinks and some biscuits. Clean towels provided and lots of pillows. There is a small wardrobe in entry way. Lovely room facing the back of the property away from the road. Only issues for room 2. Sensor light out in entry and bathroom but didn't cause any issues the rooms were still well lit without. In the bathroom the temperature adjustment guage needs fixing, it's very stiff and hard to adjust.

I found this little gem whilst looking for a place to lay my head whilst visiting family. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are large and comfortable. Very clean and tidy and decorated in keeping with the Victorian gothic vibe. I didn't get chance to eat but the menu looks what you would expect in a country pub. Great value.

Very nice rooms, decor with very friendly staff and locals. Room was nice and warm, well appointed bathroom with great water pressure in shower. Food was great and staff went the extra mile. Bar was good and locals were very friendly and chatty. Would stay here again.
