What can I say about our stay at the Rhinefield Hotel? Absolutely outstanding. My partner booked an overnight stay in the Walker Suite (Bridal Suite) for my 30th Birthday and we lived like Kings & Queens! On arrival we were greeted by Harry at the door who checked us in and carried our bags to our room, as well as a history tour of the hotel. So friendly & welcoming. The hotel decor is beautiful, the attention to detail is second to none and the staff are so attentive and thoughtful. We were offered complimentary champagne, prosecco & other drinks and snacks which was a lovely touch. I also had a 55 minute full body massage which was definitely needed and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only criticism is that there was very few chairs in the pool area to use when it was busy. The menu tasting experience at dinner was delicious and we had a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter (Jeremy) who made our evening even better. The morning after we were welcomed with a stunning breakfast delivered to our room by Jeremy. We left our order hung on our door the night before and there was so much choice. We opted for the full English breakfast, pastries & fresh orange juice. Jeremy called our room phone to let us know our breakfast was on its way to us which was great. 10/10 - delicious! What a treat to tuck into our food overlooking the hotel gardens. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Such a special way to celebrate turning 30 and I will most definitely be back. This was my first visit to the restaurant after the refurbishment and I must admit that the restaurant and the grounds look amazing. Every time we visit we plan to try a new dish, but as soon as we’ve seen a roast beef on the table next to us we have decided to stick to „the usual”. Food was delicious: the beef was tender, perfect roast potatoes and great selection of vegetables. The portions are very generous so we had to have a break before enjoying a banana and date sundae on the terrace. We love the ambience and as always we have spent hours watching the nature and catching up on the gossip. The waiting staff were very attentive and again we had a good laugh with Jenny. We even managed to speak to the chef Ana, who made us feel very welcome. Thank you for another great afternoon. We will definitely be back and perhaps next time we will try something new ;)

Myself and husband stayed 2 nights, the hotel very clean inside but the outside could do with tidying and painting, location excellent for the new forest and close to everything we wanted to do

We stayed for 2 nights, family of 3 adults and 2 children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the apartment loft with 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. The room was clean when we arrived, a cot and highchair was already in the room and there was even a baby blanket which was a lovely touch. My eldest son slept on the sofa bed which was more than adequate for him however I would say this is only suitable for a child. We all slept very well, the beds were comfy and despite it being on the main road it was extremely quiet inside. I will definitely stay here again when we come and visit for our yearly family trip. If you stay during the warmer months then I would suggest bringing a portable fan, the air coolers provided aren’t great but we did bring our own fans and slept with the windows open. Everything you need is provided. A fabulous stay.

Lovely friendly staff on reception and at the bar. Lots of fresh tasty breakfast options. The only negative at breakfast was that the hot water machine must have been in need of a good descale as tea was quite scaly. The room was very clean, quiet and adequately equipped. Good aircon, showers and towels. Bed was a little hard though. Lifts can be busy so tricky and c yourself on a high floor (there are 12) The other guests seemed to be mainly pre or post cruise passengers from all over the world - some looked very jet lagged.

I did prepaid for hotel before check-in and let me check me with no problem. However I found my card is being charged for the room afterwards with no reason. It’s unbelievable. I am now challenging hotel why this happens. Really disappointed as this creates many jobs for me.
