I was there on an arranged dive trip by the locals in Malaysia to Planet Dive. As expected its a long drive from the airport to the villa. I didn't expect that a lot of steps to take to the villas. The villas room are equipped with your necessity except your own essentials needs for cleaning and personal used. They do have make up rooms. I must say it was pretty comfortable to me. The kitchen for me was great. I enjoyed it a lot as I didn't expect the variety of the serving that comes with diff juices almost everyday. I enjoyed the pinoy food as it was not strange for me. You get the best sunset here...absolute sunset ! Diving spots in Anilao will not fails you, there are so much to find and those who are not with cameras are advisable to bring a magnifying glass. You'll find a lot of macros there and that would impressed you ! Diving equipment was ok, but not fantastic, if you are not comfortable with it, perhaps rent from your own local dive providers. I am usually trying to get used to the equipment provided by the dive center. I don't think they would want anything to happen to you as well right ? I do not want to own it hence I chose to trust the equipment. Check it thoroughly during your check out dive so you can request to replace after that. I believe it is all about skills. RESPECT THE RULES ! We ran out of water one of the day, please use the water wisely !

The hotel room is more general, but the house is very comfortable facing the sea, the external environment is very beautiful and green, the pool is beautiful. The snorkeling spot has super fish. Overall it is a great place for Anilao vacation.

Great service . They are always friendly and helpful.
Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels .
And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money.
Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel.
But for sure I will go back there

We stayed at Spets Garden hotel for 3 days, and booked the 2 bedroom family room and 2 jr deluxe suite for my mom and aunt. The food was great, the room is clean, the family room is gorgeous with a nice view of Sabang beach. The Hotel Manager, Mark is very accommodating as well as the hotel staff. We felt well served and the place feels so exclusive for us. Though the family room is located on the top, its like climbing a 7th floor, but its worth it because of the very nice view .We rented out a jeepney to bring us to white beach the whole afternoon and return in the evening. We both enjoy sabang and white beach during our stay. We will definitely come back.

Premises …are quite new with two very nice and large pools facing the ocean plus a hot-tub for which you have to book. The resort looks as good as the photos so we were not disappointed. During our five nights we saw only very few people around the resort and the restaurant even though they were fully booked. They even have a game room with a pool table, PS4 and karaoke system. Food …is good with traditional Filipino dishes, especially the pork sinigang was very good (too fatty meat though). Would be nice with a few non-fast food Western options. Staff …were extremely service minded and made us feel very welcome. All spoke English fluently in addition to Tagalog. Wheat could have been better …not leaving a family with two small kids in 32 degrees at the port for 30 min even though we had made a clear agreement to be picked up …wifi in room 601 was horrible and I had to take a business meeting close to the restaurant …none of the pools had any shade whatsoever Overall we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back (hopefully to better wifi 😀).

Okay, lets start with the highlights. The place is good, staffs are very accommodating and kind. They have plenty of cottages, grilling station and toilet/shower so you don't need to worry during peak season. Place is clean even when there are stray dogs outside the beach. They make sure no outsider may it be animal or people gets in without their authority. Now for the negative or needs improvement part. THERE ARE SO MANY FLIES!! Like it became disgusting, we arrived at 8am, started grilling at 9am, ate afterwards and went for a swim at around 2pm to 6pm and when we came back, there are flies settling at our foods and started laying eggs.. gross!! Pool water is not clear. They do water change for their pool every 6mos as what the pool attendant said, I saw a dead roach floating. They have a commercial fan but can only accommodate 1 cottage. As we were about to leave, we borrowed their push trolley.. ok, when we arrived they assisted us with the trolley but as we were about to leave, they just handed the trolley to my 14yo son. I was disappointed by it knowing I was with 3 seniors and 1 is a cancer patient which I clearly explained to them, myself and 14yo son. I was ready to give a big tip but no one assisted us so.. Overall we had a good stay, just a few things to improve especially the prevention of insects.

Tremendously enjoyed our family trip at CaSoBe. Location is quite far, but the trip is worth it. Hotel and facilities are clean. Service is great. The only downside we experienced was that the room vault was malfunctioning. The staff were very helpful to attend to our concern. The best features of the place would be the Aquaria Water Park and the beach.

GGuest UserThere are many resorts in Mabini but unfortunately many have very steep stairs to deal with. Some have their restaurants or the pool located in an inconvenient location where we have hard time to walk up and down for the food. This small resort is perfectly designed in a way that we only need to walk few steps one time for check in/out. Beautiful pool, garden with sea view, very full breakfast. Food are tasty. Our children like it. All the quiet comfort for a good stay in Anilao!

KkeithstoryIt was wonderful experience in Altamare, even though the location is isolated from the city, it is worth to stay here.
I have tried most food while we are staying here, and all of them are taste good and hygiene.
Outside pool is clean and beautiful, you can see the sunset every evening.
If you join the scuba diving, you will see many beautiful corals and small and big fish, even turtle (if you are in a right timing)
Doing Snorkeling is also recommended.
Satffs are very kind and friendly.
But the wifi signal in the room was poor.

GGuest UserLocation - This place is not that far from the Metro. Madali din lang syang mahanap through waze. Rooms - Rooms are exquisite. May bath tub for family rooms. Sobrang ganda ng ambience. Medyo mahal nga lang yung mga rooms and di pa kasama ang breakfast. Kumpleto toiletries when you go here. So no need to worry for your towels, shampoo and soap. Vibe - If you are looking for a place with a touch of Santorini, then this place is for you. konte lang tao when we visited so it doesnt feel crowed. For me, the vibe feels luxurious and not cheap. Activities - Free kayak and snorkling, so we availed those. Ang bait pa ng nag assist samen na si Kuya Janjan. Then he offered island hopping and snorkling ulit. Sulit naman. just ask kung magkano, standard naman yung rates. Mas mahal pag fri-sun. We visited an island with white sand beach. pang puno sa mga pics namin. Service - When we arrived, ramdam na agad namin ang warmth ng mga tao. halos lahat binabati kame from front desk at sa mga nag assist samin going to our room. Sa Greeka restaurant, ang babait din ng mga staff. 2nd day namin and alam nila na kakain kame meron na naka save na table for us. sina Rommel, Kevin and Joel ang nag assist samen. we reuqested for additional sabaw ng sinigang, and di sila nagdalawang isip na bigyan kame. may complimentary pa kame na leche flan from sir roger! tapos sa swimming area, again si kuya janjan ang masugid na bantay. sya din sumama samen sa island hopping. makulit, makwento at binantayan naman kame. maayos din kumuha ng picture!!! All i can say is thank you sa lahat ng staff! they will really make your vacation memorable. Food - you only have 1 choice of resto here, Greeka. i should say masarap yung pinoy options nila especially yung pork sisig. so so yung pizza and pasta nila, kaya isang beses lang namin inorder. pwede kayo magdala ng light snacks pero wag lang alcoholic drinks. medyo mahal lang alcohol, so chill lang kme sa inuman. Safety - i feel safe here. Pagdating mo sa room, meron silang sanitizing kit. lahat ng staff naka face mask and readily available ang sanitizer. regular din yung fogging nila ng common areas. Overall, this is a place worth the try. malapit lang sa manila. a bit pricey pero worth it naman and hindi ganun kamahal compared sa other resorts sa batangas. lastly, ang babait ng staff so sulit ka sa bakasyon mo!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel seemed old and not being cleaned up. There's a lot of spiderwebs and dust on the tables and chairs. The AC is not being cleaned as well and causes us to sneeze a lot.
There was water interruption on the 2nd day and 3rd day. Though there was gallon of water available to be used but inconvenient to bring inside the room because it's heavy.
And since I'm a dog lover, I was hurt to see that there was one dog that they're not taking care of. There was no food and water until we saw the container and decided to give some of what we have. He was just in the balcony. So sad.
