The hotel is close to Sol Gate Square, and the location is super good. There is a pink bar not far downstairs where you can eat paella. This meal is very delicious, but it will take more than half an hour. It can be said that the paella is the best we have eaten so far. The hotel is actually an apartment, and there is no front desk staff. Everything depends on self-awareness. Before you check in, you need to register your information through WhatsAPP or Email to get the password to enter the apartment door. We didn't have WhatsAPP and didn't pay attention to the Email, but we were lucky. When we checked in, the boss happened to be there and opened the door. The boss looked surprised and even unhappy, but he still let us register on the spot and gave us a key card that had been prepared in an envelope. This key can open the downstairs door (which is usually always open), the apartment door (which should be pushed hard immediately after hearing the swipe sound) and the room door. All rooms are in a unit located on the fourth floor, with a public living room. There are refrigerators, kitchen utensils and some snacks and fruits in the living room, but the four lights on the dining table in the living room can't be turned on. The facilities in our room are simple but not bad. Considering that the price of this room is cheaper than that in the center of Beijing, what more can we ask for? As we investigated, only one room with balcony in the hotel faces the bustling pedestrian street, while the other rooms with balcony face the alley on the other side. The rooms without balcony face a back alley, and all of them have big windows and are not stuffy.

I really enjoyed my stay at Madridcito! This was my first time traveling alone as a female and felt very safe here. It was in the perfect location near everything. Alba was so kind and even sent me restaurant, activities and bar recommendations. I would highly recommend this hostel!

Excellent central location. Stayed in one of eight rooms in an apartment . Very pleasant nicely decorated room with ensuite and use of shared kitchen/ dining area. Having access to a kettle , coffee machine , toaster and microwave etc made for a comfortable stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here while on a work trip. Was booked for 5 nights but stayed 2 and had to move hotel as couldn’t cope with the noise outside. All the reviews didn’t really mention this - but I’m not kitted out for shouting in the street to 5am due to it being so central. The correspondence was excellent though - friendly and super efficient.

Great location, only there for two nights, clean, quiet. Would have liked a tv in the room for resting times.

The stay was good until the owner literally kicked me out for a 30mins delay on the checkout. Everything else was good overall.

Super location right in the centre of everything - first of all this is not the normal accommodation I book but I really liked it - very central right beside Sol metro station on the 4th floor with a very nice and fast lift - rooms are basic clean I had a really cute balcony with fabulous shutters bathroom very clean modern and i loved the shower - bed was AWESOME I slept like a baby on a really nice foam mattress - they tell you in advance the rooms don't have TV's and that is OK I didn't like that I had no safe in the room but it was not a huge problem - Alba was fantastic she organised that I got into my room early and was full of information and conversation on WhatsApp I really liked the personal touch - the room is small with loads of character I would definitely recommend it ' Thank You for a great stay.

This was in a great location. Next to metro and downtown. Easy to get to train station. Owners helpful. Comfortable bed. Small but clean.
