No indican que es un Aparthotel, ni que hay que realizar un autocheckin. Como no estava registrado, hubo que hacerlo en la calle con un proceso complicado de escaneos de DNI, foto de reconocimiento, targeta de credito para depósito, etc que además de engorroso se colgaba obligando a reiniciar. Tardé 50 minutos y después de 7 llamadas. Sistema de registro complejo para realizar en la calle y que según contaron en locales comerciales cercanos, vieron a gente desesperada que acabaron marchandose y eso que lo tenian pagado (especialmente extranjeros sin internet en su movil).
No había toallas. Y cada vez que llamabas te desviaban a un local diferente con lo que tenía que volver a explicar mi incidencia. En resumen, para no repetir.

Pros
1.- good location
2.- spacious living areas ( kitchen, living room etc)
Cons
1.- No hot water, it seams they have a water heater for the building so if someone on another apartment takes a shower , you are out of luck and it’s freezing cold water for you .
( I contacted them and in 4 days they never took care of it )
2.- thin walls, so if you get a noisy neighbor…
So if you like cold showers then this is the place for you .

Although the apartment was ok and clean, it is not what I was looking for. It is advertised as a hotel room and it is not.
I wasn’t informed I needed to do an online check-in otherwise I didn’t have the code to enter the building.
I didn’t know I had to wait outside on the street until 3:00pm to get a code to enter.
I didn’t know their “lobby” was in another address very far away. So I was on the street until found wifi from a shop who told me they were frustrated bcse this was a continuous situation of miss information that customers were getting every time they booked this place.

Problems getting into the hotel. When we arrived no one on site to give us keys and it took us time to contact people to tell us how to get the keys. Once in things went better. Stairs to second level ( bedrooms) were long and had no rail to help with navigation. Would not recommend if over 50.

Modern and spacious for 5 people. Great location, walking distance to Prado museum and city center. Very nice to have 2 bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Entry codes were sent at last minute and our phone service wasn't working, so a bit clunky check in.

Close to most sites. Easy to hail a taxi if needed. Lots of food choices. Felt safe with lots of police presence, there was a police station close by.
Wish they had a dryer. We could not hang laundry outside because it rained a lot during our stay.
Wish we had a face to face contact during checkin. We did not do any cooking but it looked like there were plenty of pots and pans to do so

Condition of the unit was nothing like the pictures. There were metal prongs sticking out of the wall and holes with loose plaster (probably some former mount), exposed cables, pull out couch that was falling apart that kids could fall into, remotes with no backs and batteries exposed. We immediately left and booked other accomodations. They would not refund any of the five night stay (they require 3 days' notice but wouldn't even give last 2 days). Do not recommend.
