On Saturday 14th September, 55 people from Open Doors Club Swatragh had a very enjoyable visit with lovely refreshment in Walsh's Hotel. Our group will be forever grateful to the management and the staff, who went above and beyond their duties to help our group members, in every way possible. When we arrived, staff were at the door to welcome everyone, brought us up-stairs to their lovely function room which was very spacious and appropriate for our group's occasion. We all enjoyed a lovely meal, great value for money, the food was delicious and came with excellent service, "organised to perfection" with plenty of friendly staff onboard making sure we were very well looked after. Open Doors Club looks forward to more great evenings like this in Walsh's Hotel.

Excellent stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Nothing seemed too much trouble, they all went above and beyond. Felt so relaxed and comfortable. Dinner was lovely and breakfast was even nicer. Massive portions. Lovely room spacious, clean and very comfortable, great nights sleep. Will definitely return

Friendly staff, they were very accommodating. The hotel was on the Main Street so the noise at night when people were coming out of the bar was very loud . Nicely decorated. Bathrooms lovely and modern. Helena’s served big portions with a good selection of food

My wife and I met a group of former colleagues from our business in strabane over many years We had tried to book other establishments within the area only to be told last orders were 7.00pm. We googled and found Walsh’s hotel in Maghera and what a good choice it turned out to be. We met there at 7.00. Had pre dinner drinks and ordered at 8.00. The food was of the highest quality and the service attentive and unobtrusive. We had a brilliant night in very comfortable surroundings with beautifully cooked food. We left at just after 10.00 pm without being put under pressure to leave earlier.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They could not do enough to make your stay more enjoyable. I stayed there with a group. It was lashing rain when we arrived and one of the staff came out and held an umbrella over people exiting the coach into the hotel getting drenched in the process. Quirky rooms. Great food.

Just back from a friends wedding , best wedding I’ve been to .. staff go over and above to help . Food was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic… if your thinking of have your wedding here .. book it you’ll not be disappointed. From the owner , Chris and all staff give you so much attention. We decided to surprise bride and stay another night , got a great deal plus Chris sorted us out with drinks etc to our room so we could hid and surprise the bridal party when they came out from their meal . I really do recommend this hotel and wedding venue.

Visited here for some food and a catchup with my cousin. The restaurant area was clean, tidy and clutter free. Food was tasty, nothing fancy just pub grub which we wanted. Fast friendly service. Reasonably priced. I would come again if in area again

This hotel has so many discerning things to offer the tired traveller, brilliant surroundings, warm atmosphere, warm spacious and comfortable rooms and above all great food and great customer service, in particular from Karen who goes that extra mile to accommodate you. Very highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Walsh’s hotel for those special occasions. They hosted an afternoon tea for my Aunts 70th Birthday!The food was fabulous and the staff were excellent. Special thanks to Gerard,Emily and Ciara for helping to make the occasion so special. Thanks to Ash for helping organise the day. We had such a great day and the room was so spacious that the kids had lots of fun running around.
