I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel with a rooftop bar and infinity pool. While the experience had its highs and lows, I would rate the hotel 3 out of 5.
Starting with the positives, the rooftop bar was a highlight of the stay. The view of the city from the top was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was lively and energetic. The drinks were well-made, and the service was attentive, making it an enjoyable place to spend an evening.
The infinity pool on the rooftop was also a standout feature. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the view from the edge was stunning. The pool area had plenty of seating and lounging options, making it easy to relax and soak up the sun.
However, there were also some negatives to the hotel experience. At check-in, the front desk staff were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in providing assistance. When I had questions about the amenities and services offered by the hotel, I received vague and unhelpful responses.
Furthermore, on a couple of occasions, I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for assistance from the hotel staff. For example, when I requested extra towels for my room, it took over an hour for someone to bring them to me.
The housekeeping staff was also inconsistent in their cleaning services, with some days the room being well-cleaned and other days finding uncleaned areas.
Overall, the poor service from the hotel staff was a significant downside to my stay, and it had a negative impact on my overall experience. Given this, I would still rate the hotel 3 out of 5, as the rooftop bar and infinity pool were impressive, but the service from the hotel staff left much to be desired.
