Arrived, told our room had broken AC so had to use another room with airbed for 1 night, not ideal but these things happen. Said we’d take the room with no AC but told not an option. When we got to our block the room we should have been in was being used by a family as they were sat on it with swimwear drying on railings - aircon wasn’t broke we’d been double booked & lied to. Our captivating view was the car park. Pointe bar: what a dump, cushions either missing or dirty. Fridge broken, chap said no stock, only draught beer, 1 can of warm diet coke & some iced lemonade! A bin bag was delivered & told it was airbed presumed someone would be back to make the bed up. Nope we had to do it. Next morning at breakfast we were handed 4 boxes, we went into a soulless room & opened them to find a wet soggy muffin, frozen cheese omelette, yogurt & bagel with orange juice. Asked about room, told an OV was available, took our number & said we could move at 12. Hadn’t heard by 3:30 so went back & abruptly told no OV room available but original was I expressed my dissatisfaction in experience so far at nearly £300pn I felt was just poor value & was told “all resort fees waivered” which is nice but not addressing any issues. Our room 315 the room was spacious & clean. Pool is filthy it's that bad people have written their names in the dirt. The jacuzzi is dirty. Pool bar wasn’t open in the 4 nights we stayed. Grounds are unkept, no maintenance, broken borders, uneven patio, poor impression.
