The Eder Hotel gets better every year. The location, ambience and decor are all exceptional. We have just had a fantastic stay with our boys celebrating a special birthday. Sepp and his wonderful family made it an extremely memorable day. The whole staff team go above and beyond, the service and hospitality is amazing. In particular Simon who served us at dinner, the girls at breakfast who were super smiley and friendly and the omelette chef were all outstanding also Monica who serviced our room to a very high standard of cleanliness. Thank you Team Eder! We will be back!

Cooming for 5 days off ... and we've qucikly extended for couple of more days ... Sepp family is running this exciting hotel and whole team in a way that we felt as being with long years friends right after getting if for checking ... and this feeling has not disappeared after leaving. Maria Alm is nice, quiet city and there is a lot of places where to gou around.... Hotel itself is superb, very convenient, friendly, clean, super comfortable... great apartment Glossglockner with nice view and built-in sauna .... absolutelly great spa and saunas in the hotel, outdoor and inner (connected) pool, gym, .... do you need more? Yes ... food ... ;) Super rich breakfasts, and outstanding food for dinners ... simply 5 out of 5 .... supported by great friendly attentive service ... Dog friendly .. we've been there with our 2 Westies, and they enjoyed stay as well ;) Cannot wait to be back again in few months from now... and even for longer stay than just one week

Excellent hotel with great facilities, food and service. It has a spa a gym and a pool. While the pool is not huge it is warm and pleasant. Although it didn't bother us it is next to the church with a clock that chimes the quarters as well as the hour. It stops chiming at midnight but starts again at 6am and even though our room was closest to it, 140 (plus 240 & 340) and we had the window open; it was not an issue. Good location, supermarket not far away. Csbale car next the church and bus terminal just down the road.

Stayed in the Eder for one week. Fantastic hotel, can't fault it. All the staff were amazingly polite and friendly, in particular the head waitress, Melanie who looked after us for most of the week. We stayed half board and there was plenty of choice for breakfast, a five course evening meal, all of a very high standard. The hotel itself was very clean and modern, with a great pool to relax in after a hard day's skiing. We stayed in the double studio room which was ideal, plenty of space for two. I would definitely recommend the Eder and have already booked my next trip back in January 2024.

Beautiful hotel, with such a friendly staff and great facilities. Right next to the natrubahn lift up the mountain for hiking and many other hiking trails around. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of different choices. Spa facilities were also really good with multiple options of saunas and places to relax. The swimming pool is a little small but works well for a relaxing dip. Would 100% come back and recommend

Clean and cozy. Fab omelettes for breakfast with teas coffee hot chocolate fruit cereal. Spa, pool jacuzzi steam room fab didn’t need to book and weren’t busy. 2 miles approx to mayforhern. Snow bombing trip. 2 of us went. Advertised on snowbombing site however had to get a taxi to snowbombing mayforhern village - €19 in taxi. The hotel is not to blame.

Great all round hotel, in a very quiet village (might not be ideal for the 20 year olds in the family!) We decided to try this hotel on the recommendation of a friend. We loved the hotel from start to finish. The room was very nice with the most comfortable mattresses and plenty of space underneath the bed for suitcases storage etc. We did go for an extra bigger room which was really worthwhile as our friends stayed in a smaller room. The food is top class, a five course meal every night. The breakfast was plentiful and very healthy. Lovely friendly staff and the owner Tania made us feel very much at home. Some people (in their reviews) complained about the nearby church bells that have been ringing for over 650 years, my advice is to bring ear plugs. My husband used the gym daily and found it to be adequate. We used the small pool area every evening which was great after a day's skiing. On the last day we had booked a taxi to take us to the train station 10 mins away. The taxi never turned, the hotel did their very best to get through to the taxi company and in the end asked a driver from their sister hotel to take us. They were so good to us. I would definitely go back.

Delicious food (large potions) with very friendly and charming staff set in a traditionally decorated and delightful restaurant. The menu had something for everyone and the house Strommer Riesling was a great recommendation from the waiter. Whatever issues there may have been were definitely not evident and we too are English!

We were part of a group, staying in this hotel for a few days prior to visiting Oberammergau. The rooms were lovely, food and service excellent. The free chairlift pass was very useful. Lovely village. Church bells start ringing at 6 am, so be prepared for an early wake up! No complaints at all about this friendly hotel.
