Palm Appart Club Marrakesh

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Palm Appart Club. My family and I had to change rooms three times within the first two nights due to unclean conditions and a foul smell. Basic requests like an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer were ignored despite multiple requests, and we only received one iron (without a board) and a single hairdryer, which was later removed without explanation. This left my wife, sister-in-law, and her young child with no way to dry their hair, leading to the child waking up sick. Additionally, the playground was missing essential equipment, which limited options for our young child to play. This stay was meant to be a relaxing escape, but it only added stress. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking reliable service and a comfortable stay.

Worst holiday hotel accommodation. This hotel does deserve to be given 1 star. The staff tells you that they will sort things out but never do. I had to put a formal complaint. I had to chabge room 4 times. 1st room was filthy and stank of sewage. The second room has 3 lights faulty and the walls and fittings was poor with no sign of upkeep and maintenance. The third room had broken kitchen cabinet and damaged draws and electrical plugs loose and looked not safe. I had 3 young children on holiday. On my 4th room I had a very frightening experience where my mobile charger exploded and my original phone charger and cable burned. At that point I got very angry and frustrated. And by the way there were more minor issues like they do nit provide you with hair dryer, no iron or ironing board (this is advertised on my booking website that I book this stay with).. I can go on on.

This is definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Room very basic and needed updated . Room service never changed towels or new toilet paper until asked . Its sister hotel next door was much better . However staff helpful and friendly and great location .

We had a great stay at the hotel and the whole family enjoyed the pool, the breakfast and the cool Air conditioning in the room when it was 42 outside. The staff is very friendly and is Halle to help. Rooms needed some attentions and upgrading though.

The staff were always as helpful as they could be , but this hotel isn't great. It didn't have its own pool bar or restaurant. We arrived at 2.30 in the morning so we were looking for breakfast the next morning without going to far. We went to the Palm Plaza, which is part of the complex. It was 135 dh each for a basic buffet. For Marracech ,this is extortionate. All the cafes around the hotel do a great breakfast for about 30-40 dh. Our rooms needed updated and the aircon was so smelly we had to turn it off.The staff tried to fix it , but failed. There was some construction upgrading being carried out on the ground floor at the time which didn't bother us, but the construction engineer gave everyone his direct number in case it did. Which is good. The pool was good and the attendant always tried to get you a lounger ,which was difficult most of the time. We were quoted 400 dh each to use the pool in the Palm plaza, which was less busy. But we didn't bother with that. It's a great location, near to Medina.150 dh return in Taxi. Carrefour and franchise restaurants right outside and loads of other good places to eat. If the Hotel was as good as the staff and location I'd rate it higher.

Spacious rooms, pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. communication may be a problem if you don't understand French or Arabic. Saeed the Manager was really nice and helped us out during our stay. Kids enjoyed their stay as there is a play area apart from the Swimming pool.
