Salama is a quaint and beautifully done up bungalow an a 10 minute walk from the beach. The staff here is extremely warm and friendly and makes you feel at home. The owners are welcoming and very helpful as well and make sure that you have a very comfortable stay. The restaurant in the bungalow has beautiful ambience and decor and serves delicious food at very economical prices. I stayed here for a short period of 2.5 days but thoroughly enjoyed it. You can also request for a taxi from the airport in advance and the owners arrange for it so that he can be easily picked up from the airport. If you're looking to go deep sea diving, this is near near to a few of the deep sea diving places.

Amazing location! The owner is very friendly and helpful. He knows where are good spots and the guide he recommended also was very good Beautiful place, very clean! Perfect for relaxing. It has many hidden places to hang out and even a terrasse for doing yoga. The breakfast is delicious and ecery day something else is served. But when you have a big appettite it might be not enough

We are spending a lovely, very relaxing week here. The owners Paco and Maria are warm, friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are cosy, well decorated and immaculately clean. The beds are large and comfortable. Tropical plants and trees surround all areas and make you feel like you’re in a middle of a natural garden. The pristine beach is only a short walk away. We are very happy with our choice. Highly recommended.

Amazing resort! All new, very clean, amazing unique bungalows, staff 10/10 , big yoga sala, and absolutely heart of these property are owners Spanish family Maria & Paco, which also learn staff to be like them.. i am in these business and these is really amazing to see.. you get all the time very high level service from everyone.. they support 100 % locals.. they also connect locals, … and food here is so delicious, doesn’t matter what u order… We are really Thankful for everything 🙏🏼

We stayed 7 days in Salam Bungalows and we had a great time. Paco and Maria are very kind - always available for their guests and the place is amazing. Everything was clean / the food was delicious / the garden very nice ! We recommend this place to all who want to go to Zanzibar !

Excellent place to stay - staff are helpful and kind. It’s full of plants and hammocks; very tranquil and chilled out. Food and cocktails are great. The breakfast is delicious and huge! We loved staying there :-) definitely recommend! Thank you

It may be a short walk from the beach, but this place is surely the best place to stay in all of Zanzibar to relax and unwind. A verdant oasis to escape the midday sun, it is spotlessly clean and effortlessly welcoming. The owner, Paco, is the most charming of hosts and is constantly at hand to cater to your wants and needs - or just to make you smile and laugh. He is a refreshing delight and much of the reason our stay was so rewarding. Thanks again Paco, Wojtek UK, London

Dès le portail d’entrée franchi vous entrez dans une oasis de verdure avec plusieurs piscines, un personnel très souriant, des propriétaires très chaleureux. Une upgrade nous aura fait profiter des bungalows donnant sur la piscine dans lesquels malgré l’absence de climatisation, la température reste acceptable. Chambre très spacieuse hormis une remontée d’odeur de la fosse sceptique (qui a du être réglé depuis les propriétaires étant très réactifs). À pieds vous pouvez accéder à une joli plage (à marée haute) peu fréquentée. Le plus pratique étant de louer une voiture pour accéder à muyubi et mnemba à moins de 10 minutes ou à nungwi et kendwa en 40 minutes. L’établissement est très propre, on y mange bien (petits déjeuner varié et dinner de bonne qualité à prix correcte) les cocktails sont bons et certains soir il y a aussi des concerts très sympa. Une bonne adresse au calme pour rayonner dans le nord ouest et est.

Jambo Jambo Maria, Paco, Foum, Salé et toute l'équipe Je n'écris pas ce message en anglais, sinon Paco ne le comprendrait pas ;-). Ahsante sana pour ces merveilleux jours passés en votre compagnie. Cette hôtel est idéal pour profiter de Zanzibar en toute détente. La verdure y est impressionnante. 3 piscines. Super bar/resto avec, entre autre, des jus de fruit délicieux et de la safari bien fraiche. Les chambres sont spacieuses, belles, confortables et bien équipées. pleins de recoins où se détendre. Enfin, les conseils de Maria pour les activités sont parfaitement personnalisés et donc adaptés à chacun. Vivement y retourner. Jambo !
