Excellent surrounding. Food very tasty. Rooms are neat and clean. Courteous staff. Best choice for stay at Matheran. Even walk from Matheran station is nice and maximum 1.5 km distance. Connectivity by Mumbai local trains till Neral. Then by mini train or cab. Advice not to go for mini train.

This was our forth stay at Radha Cottage and again we had a fantastic stay @ Radha Cottage! The accommodation was comfortable, the food was delicious as usual , and the hospitality was top-notch…The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable…

Radha Cottage Heritage gives a feeling of living in the midst of dense forests, and it makes an individual realize how important it is to stay away from the hustle bustle of the city. The housekeeping, room and food services are amazing! The surroundings are very clean, and ambience is wonderful. This is a must visit place atleast once in your lifetime!

The place was ideally located inside matheran, away from the normal hustle bustle in the calm and tranquil environment. A horse ride did the trick for us as kids enjoyed the nearly 4km stretch, while i walked through, indulging in local berries and soaking in fresh air. The property was surrounded by lush greenery and had basic amenities for engaging kids, young and adults alike - swings, slides, table tennis, chess, carom - to keep one captivated for indoor leisurely hours. The lunch was a lip smacking Maharastrian meal which culminated with mouth watering ghee laden pooranpolli. Thereafter we went for afternoon siesta. The rooms were cozy and hygienic with fresh linens. This was followed by enthralling evening walk to the lake and nearby five points witnessing varied bio diversity including green vine snake, till echo point by sundown. By cease day we retired to our cottage to rest our tired legs to hot water therapy prior enjoying tea. The dinner thali was again a wholesome sumptuous meal. Prior to retiring to our bed we engaged ourselves to star gazing in the full moon night resting on swing. Next day we woke up by sunrise and witnessed the troupe of monkey readying themselves for the incoming challenges of the day. Lesson learnt - never cross path with them specially an alpha Male, with anything to eat in our hands. Breakfast was yet again a healthy wholesome meal, which we had tummy full before vacating our cottage room. Heartfelt thank you for the hospitality shown to us by the caretaker mgr Kunal to cook to hygienist.

Me and my family stayed at Radha Cottage from 24th April to 27th April for 3 Nights.This was a last moment plan to go to Matheran to relax as my son got unexpected holidays from his studies. I chose Radha resort after reading positive reviews.I can easily say now that all good reviews are totally true and all negative reviews if any are false after my experience. I was first reluctant to take package which includes all meals,as I had to stay there for 3 nights.But now I am fan of their food.Not single item was repeated in these 3 days.Food is tasty and very homely . Even owner ***oj and Vidula Khedakar ***** with their two daughters were present at the property. All are very humble and giving nice opinions where to go what to see since this was our first visit to Matheran.Weather of Matheran was good but the location of Radha Cottage further enhanced it. The staff members have to have a special mention as they were very good at their work and always had a smile on their face. Overall I will give 5 out of 5 stars in all categories to Radha Cottage for making our trip memorable.

This is a heritage resort .Place is really beautiful. Food just tastes like homemade. We enjoy all the food here. Staff is good. .Room was very nice. We came for one night. Great location, pleasant weather in summer too. Will recommend to others.

Must visit place. From Food to hospitality everything was of par excellence. We were here for 2 nights and 3 days. Calm and serene beauty around. Staff is polite always ready to serve. Enjoyed food from breakfast to dinner. It was tasty. Variety food were served. Would love to visit this place in rainy season.

Beautiful, neat and clean resort . Rooms also were very neat and clean. Staff was very nice and cooperative. Food quality was very good. The resort is surrounded by lush green trees. The a**osphere in the resort was really calm and quite. Enjoyed the stay.

Hi, After a long time we had planned for a holiday *****with the group of friends wherein the bonding has entered 33rd years and hence we wanted a place centrally located from Mumbai and Pune, so we obviously zeroed down to Matheran. 'Radha Cottage' which other place to stay at Matheran? Truly a 'home away from home'. Hats off to the hospitality shown by Mrs. & Mr. Khedkar and their whole staff. Food quality is also AMAZING.
