We stayed here because of its location, right in the heart of Wirksworth. Made to feel welcome on arrival and the room was quirky as expected. Bedding was spotless and we had a good nights sleep. A few things just need a bit of upgrading I think, which I believe they are working on. Great bar downstairs which we enjoyed too. It is an old building and not perfect but the location is what we enjoyed most so would stay again. The price was very inexpensive too so if it is upgraded probably will have to pay more. All in all a good stay hence the rating.
