Breezbay Seaside Resort Matsushima

L'hotel è datato e nei corridoi delle stanze l'odore è terribile, non essendoci finestre ma tanta moquette. La struttura è piena di piante di plastica, che accumulano polvere; sarebbe bene sostituirle con piante vere, che potrebbero aiutare con gli odori sgradevoli. La stanza in "stile tropicale'' in realtà ha poco del tropicale: una palma finta, 2 quadri polverosi di orchidee e vista sul parcheggio. Inoltre l'odore in stanza era così insopportabile da dover lasciare 24/24 le finestre aperte, con il solo risultato di raffreddarci. No scrivania e nessuno spazio per appoggiare i vestiti, eccetto 3 grucce. Un solo membro dello staff parla in inglese. Il buffet della colazione è stato sempre lo stesso per 4 giorni di fila e la qualità non è sufficiente; sarebbe meglio ridurre la scelta e aumentare la qualità dei prodotti. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo è insufficiente (circa 140 € a notte).

位置有點遠，但服務很好，外出可幫忙叫的士，還包外出的車資。還有私人溫泉可免費享用，下午茶時段還有免費茶點，晚餐及早餐食物均美味，印尼式嘅酒店，值得推薦。

非常舒適的飯店，如果想體驗峇里島風格的話可以入住，設施完善且有提供HAPPY HOUR可以免費取用，適合家庭及情侶

酒店服務員表現親切，詳細介紹酒店設施，感覺非常窩心。

I was going to give this hotel 2 stars but then I felt I was being a bit unfair. Saying that, I feel it’s important to know that each guest’s experience may differ to the next. I went on a family trip with my in-laws - their room was bright and smelt okay, whiles ours was very dark and had a horrible smell of stale smoke. The whole hotel has seen better days, with an utterly random Bali inspired theme. But there are plus points in that the whole place is quite endearing. Just go in knowing you will not get luxury in any form. Breakfast was good, and if you drink beer they offer free drinks for a few hours in the afternoon. I think the smoke smell of my room just really turned me off.

For me, walking distance to the main part of town is most important. It is close enough to walk, but the hotel is over a pedestrian bridge and up a steep hill; rolling luggage is possible but not recommended. This is a safe walk if you plan to see the sunrise. They have a van which will take you to (and from, I think- I didn't try) the train station on demand, which is great. It's very possible that I was the only non-Japanese person staying at this hotel, really more of a resort. Shoes come off at the entrance and stay there overnight (slippers are provided). The room was huge, with the kind of mattress I am used to in the US, and there was a balcony overlooking the bay. There was a buffet Japanese breakfast, and the items were labeled, which I appreciated because the labels can be run through a translator. I stayed on a weeknight and the clientele at breakfast at 7am was elderly. Sometimes in Japan there are problems with the smell of cigarette smoke- not a problem here. Both the Japanese and foreign staff were helpful. There is a small area at the front offering non-refrigerated snacks and souvenirs. I did not try the dinner.

We really liked this place. Although it is in no way seaside or “Breeze Bay”-ish, it is a nice hotel situated on the hillside in an attractive forest. I liked that it was only a 5-10min walk from the train station and town. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. The all day snacks and the free happy hour drinks and snacks were a really nice touch. Our room was clean and comfortable with a couple of windows overlooking the parking area and forest. The wifi and AC both seemed to work great. We made use of the free bikes and went for a great ride around the countryside. They are little fold up jobs but with 5 or 6 gears to help getting up the hills. Overall, a great base for your stay in Matsushima, and recommended to all travellers.

今回２回目の宿泊です。スタッフの方々も丁寧な対応をいただいてとても気持ちが良かったです。ドリンクサービス(アルコールも)あり、貸しきりお風呂無料等、建物は新しくはないですが清潔に保たれていて居心地が良かったです。朝食も美味しかったです。

施設設備はキレイで充実しています。風呂なども工夫されていて、快適に過ごせます。 不満点としては、駅までのアクセスが徒歩では良くないので、シャトルバスなどがあれば良かったことと、近くにコンビニがないので、売店を充実させてほしかったことです。レストラン以外でも松島ビールを飲みたかった。
