Radisson Blu la Poste Lafayette Resort and Spa

This Hotel does full justice to the beautiful surroundings and the service is exemplary!! We stayed 6 days for my milestone birthday celebration and boy did they go the extra mile. The food in both restaurants was fantastic, the cocktails cold and delicious and the snacks during the day were amazing. There are too many people to name, there honestly are - a big thanks then to the General Manager Ivan, who made a point to check on us and see that all was in good order. I can see that this is a very happy staff who enjoy their jobs and this comes from great leadership, which benefits us guests!! Thanks to the Chefs, waitrons, housekeeping, gardeners, receptionists, concierge, spa and all those staff we do not see who keep this resort ticking. Absolutely first class!!

Being new to Mauritius this was my first getaway and I really enjoyed the resort. This trip was my Father's Day gift to myself. The staff was very friendly and really took good care of my needs. Big thanks to the great receptionist staff and Diane!!

Ourvashi, Deena and Henisha were our spa therapist.🙏Gratitude for the angels touch to soothe and connect our soul to our body in the now. Not sure why this resort have so many good reviews as it's not worth its money. But let start from beginning ... When we arrived to resort at 7PM after 24 hour trip, they tried to cheat as giving as very basic room in different building telling us that this is what we paid for. Even when I showed them invoice with room type, meal plan and even pictures on their own website, they still told us that this room is what we paid for. Of course not, so we were told that all the rooms were booked and that they could give us another room (the one we paid for) but we would have to wait another hour for it to be ready. Not really good start of holiday as we had to fight for what we paid :-( Superior Garden Rooms are tiny. There is no place to seat in it even to wear a shoes as additional area are converted into terrace. You feel like in shoe box. Not even mention that they are dated with mold in shower area. Food in main restaurant is very average. Almost no fruits and only few dishes to choose. Aqua ala cart restaurant is nice and food in it is good, but not always is possible to use it. Swimming pool is nice, but small, and even if it looks like infinity it is not as only what you can see from it are sun beds on the deck. Beach is very nice but with not many sun beds. There is no place to seat and drink coffee, tea or anything else if you don't want to seat next to aqua restaurant. Entertainment is really bad. Seriously bad. You have to be really drunk to enjoy it. This is Adults only resort but, everything shutdown at 11PM. Seriously, you can't even get coffee, tea or anything after 11PM. Being at the middle of nowhere means, you're doomed :( In RIU family resorts you have more night life !!! There whole resort is tiny. Small area with lots of rooms to maximize profit. Standard rooms are located in different building on the other side of the road. They are really depressing (we have been there of 5 minutes), with constant noise from power generator and view at telecom aerial. How this can be offered to anyone ??? On the day of checkout, they deliver us information to the room, that we have to checkout until 11AM, even if we have in our invoice info that check out is until midday. Even in resort internal website it stands, that check out is until midday. So I had another chat in reception to point them that this is not what we pay for and even what they have on their website. When we were checking out, they asked us to pay for drinks and meals even if we where on All Inclusive plan. When I asked for an itemised bill, I told them we were All Inclusive and they treated us as half board and I could only pay for what I knew was not included in our meal plan. So 3 times during our holiday resort tried to cheat us. They tried to fix it but bad taste stays and will stay. It was our 1st time in Radisson Blu, and we will never go to any Radisson Blu again.

Beautiful but noisy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and keen to make sure you had plenty of refreshments, polite and friendly. My only gripe was the incessant base booming out. Even on the furthest part of the beach (amazing views by the way) the sound of crashing waves was drowned out by the thumping base. It would be fine on a party island like Ibiza or even in certain areas of the hotel. Such a shame because it could have easily been a 5

Always wanted to have a relaxing time with my wife. Raddison with the concept of adult offer me the vacation what we dream for.A nice room direct access to the beach was beyond our expectation , having a kind and helpful steward Karishma was a blessing. she did a great job alway make sure that our room stay clean and arranged. Bar staff Mr.Raj was kind and suggest us the best cocktail. Diane and Isha did also a great job. In addition i would like to thanks Kev who keep always asking if everything running smooth and our preferences. Thanks u all
