Antoine made us feel very welcome on our arrival; extremely friendly & knowledgable; thank-you. He supplies a list of good restaurants; trips; etc. The Good Life are eco lodges. 8 in total. 4 facing the pool & 4 to the rear. Make sure you book a pool facing room. The rooms are bright, airy & open plan…including the bathroom. As it’s an eco lodge the air conditioning is turned off during the day; however we asked for ours to be left & Antoine obliged; but please turn it off if you are out for the day. Our pool view room had a lovely verandah; very peaceful & relaxing at the end of the day. The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, but no fridge; however you can use their communal fridge to store beers, drinks, snacks, etc. There is no bar, but you can bring alcohol back if you desire. The breakfast is beautiful; different egg choices, fruit, tea/coffee, juices, etc. Lovely pool setting with day beds. The best thing about this place is that it’s quiet !!! You can hear some traffic at times, but it’s mainly peaceful with just the sound of birds. Being in the far north of the island (which is beautiful); you will need wheels to get around. Short walk to local beach & the pretty chapel. The more built up Gran Baie is a 15 minute drive/ride away. 1hr30 from airport (2100MUR) £37 one way. We would both highly recommend The Good Life !!! Perfect stay. Hosts are really friendly and accomodating and the place has an amazing vibe. They thought of all the details for a relaxing stay. The temperature of the water in the pool was very pleasant compared to the other places we visited. Garden is really beautiful. Breakfast is outstanding!

Beautiful hideaway in a colorful garden with many birds and a pool which I enjoyed in the late evenings, watching stars and flying foxes. The room was nicely decorated and made me feel at home. The whole staff is amazing, Antoine gave me lots of valuable informations which made my trip so wonderful. The food was delicious! Wish I had stayed there much longer.

There are very few places where you arrive and you are so honestly welcome that you feel home. This is how I would describe The Good Life. The manager has always time for a short chat. He also recomended to us many great atractions, bars and restaurants. He was always there to help us. The Good Life looks exactly like on the photos available on the page - like a small paradies! You are awake and you see the beautiful and colourful garden from your bed. The location is very good to discover the north of the island. They serve also delicious breakfast. It is a definitely a place to visit! If not for a stay then for a breakfast or a lunch at least!

We enjoyed our stay at The Good Life from the first moment. Everythink was perfect, from the check-in to the cleanliness to the delicious breakfast. We especially appreciated the small size of the hotel, the pool area (which was great for morning yoga und swim) as well as the care to details and quality/ecology. The owner and the team were wery welcoming and gave us a lot of tips for activities.

A really lovely place with a great owner and kind stuff. Clean room, pool and garden as well as really good and tasty food. The owner gave us lots of advice for trips, best sights and restaurants/bars. I mostly recommend places like these, since they are the most authentic and customer-oriented.

My partner and I loved our time at the Good Life!It is a beautiful place to stay, so much nicer than the massive impersonal hotel resorts! Antoine and his wife did everything to make our stay lovely and shared so many tips with us. The staff were adorable too!We absolutely loved the breakfast, the stunning garden and our terrace with a view to the pool!We will be back!

Such a nice and original concept, the decorations, the gardens, the rooms, the food…everything is so amazingly well designed, it’s as if a Pinterest aesthetic mood board came to life literally. Such a great welcome with a warmly smiling team, the hospitality is great as soon as you enter the premises, big thanks to Antoine, the host who honestly has made our stay so enjoyable, being super helpful and for being such a good sport. Thank you to Jenny as well during breakfast, who was the sweetest. Such a peaceful spot for couples and friends alike, the lounge pool sofas are so comfortable, you could sleep the whole day on them..the room amenities are great too, yoga mats, refillable water bottles..bed is very comfy too! Food is absolutely amazing! The À La Carte Breakfast was delicious and all their menus, including lunch/brunch menus are very dietary conscious, so it would suit anybody who wants to eat there, be it vegan, gluten free, vegetarian etc. Overall, 10/10 stay, would definitely go there again any chance i get.

Amazing eco oasis. Antoine created a beautiul garden and premises. Great service with advices on what to do around Breakfast is top and healthy. The room is great too. The Balinese swimming pool is just incredible. I really recommend to stay in the Good Life Eco Lodge
