We had a very bad experience. We arrived at night after driving 4- 5 hours with my extended family - kids grandparents and dogs looking forward to peace and bliss.There was an issue with our booking which was no fault of ours. The moment we arrived, the owner shouted at my wife and sister in law, causing my wife to cry. We were literally chased out. As seasoned travellers we have NEVER experienced such poor treatment. My whole family was in shock. Whilst idyllic, please be wary there is a spiteful person who runs this establishment and I don’t wish this sort of experience to happen to anyone else.

This was the highlight of our 2 week trip in France. Alain was nothing short of extraordinary. Our days started off with incredible breakfasts with every delicacy imaginable. Alain planned our days perfectly and sent us out to places that were largely devoid of crowds. He also made marvelous restaurant reservations for us. My daughter and I were so sad to leave, and I hope very much to return. I felt I had a temporary home in the Dordogne.

Nous avons réservé pour le week end du 14 juillet. Paiement confirmé et réservation confirmée. La veille du départ nous avons reçu un mail d’annulation. Nous avons contacté le domaine qui nous a dis que ce n’était pas son problème et voir ça avec Booking. Or dans le mail que nous avons reçu nous avons la copie de la demande du domaine à Booking demandant d’annuler notre réservation car il a de son côté d’autre clients qui louent plus longtemps. Il a été odieux au téléphone avec ma femme. Accueil minable et très désagréable…. Attention si vous ne louez qu’une seule nuit attendez vous à ce que votre réservation soit annulée si il trouve d’autre clients qui prennent 2 nuits. Même quelque heures avant de partir … Ils n’ont aucun scrupule et ne pensent qu’à l’argent et la rentabilité ! Ce ne sont pas des manières de traiter le client. Si il veut louer 3 nuits minimum il doit me préciser. Je ne recommande pas ce genre d’établissement a cause de la manière dont il traite le client qui a payé en plus.

Me hubiera gustado alojarme en este hotel. Reservé a través de booking una estancia de 5 noches. Me enviaron un mensaje diciéndome que no tenían disponilbilidad en esa fecha, pero sí el resto del mes, por lo que modifiqué la reserva. Entonces recibí otro mensaje diciéndome que estaban completos todo el mes. Al ponerme en contacto por tfno con el hotel, me comunican de forma muy grosera que ellos no tienen nada que ver con booking y...ME CUELGA EL TELÉFONO
