The service attitude is very good. I came here for the first time and I didn’t know what fun things to do here. The housekeeper introduced me to what fun and delicious food there was. There were no surprises here. I had a great time. I stayed here. It's very convenient to park. It's very close to the big show. The room is also very clean and tidy. I'm very satisfied with it.

This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Great staff, friendly but professional. Especially thanks to those young ladies in Mao's costumes. They provided valuable information about how to make the most out of our time in Fenghuang Ancient Town, including the best time to see the night-time activities, and where to eat. One the the lady walked us to the stairs/walkway so we can walk to the Town. Before she turned back, she advised us to take a taxi to the hotel due to the walkway will to too dark to walk and unsafe. The room is big with an electric kettle but no tea bag or coffee provided. The breakfast buffet had variety with both Chinese and Western foods.

This little hotel on the banks of the river couldn't have tried harder to please, from the first moment I arrived till I left, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure I was happy and looked after.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk along the banks of the river to reach the centre of the ancient town, something I think I preferred as the noise in the evenings from karaoke bars in the centre goes on till late.
I was upgrade to one of the loft rooms, the bed was lovely and comfy with good linen and the walkin shower was excellent. The TV was massive and there was a lovely view of the river from the seating area.
The entrance was a bit tricky to identify and hence why I have included a better photo.

The facilities in the room show the owner's care. Both the texture of the nightgown and the bedding are very soft and skin-friendly. It comes with 4 pillows, which is very considerate, and the toilet is electric. Breakfast is rich and water is provided for free. I have to say that the attitude and service of the hotel staff are very good. They patiently explained the map of the ancient city and helped with luggage during pick-up and drop-off. Booking ferry tickets and tickets is also cheaper than online. The only drawback is that the bed curtains in the hotel are not 100% light-blocking, so those who are sensitive to light will wake up early in the morning. The hotel is located downstream of the ancient city, very quiet, and very close to the center. The location is easy to find, and you won't get lost when you come back. Very cost-effective, will come again next time.

The downstream riverside location, I suggest you book here; the price of the hotel is twice as cheap, and the upstream away from the hustle and bustle is very quiet.

I chose a lot of hotels on Ctrip, and finally chose Saxifrage Cottage. It has a pick-up and drop-off service, which is great~ The B&B is located in the lower reaches of the Tuojiang River, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the upper reaches. It is very quiet. I booked a river-view room, but I didn’t pay attention to the one I chose. floor, luckily it was the off-season, and the boss helped us upgrade our room to the second floor for free. When we opened the door, we were greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows with an unobstructed view of the river. Just like the online reviews, what you see is what you get. The room was clean and spacious, and there was no moisture. It's nice, well-equipped, and very comfortable to live in. The boss is also very nice and introduced places to eat and play. Phoenix is a beautiful place. This is the right season. It is recommended to come in the off-season. It is a worthwhile trip.
