The location is in front the Mazatlan Malecon, near to the beach, crossing the street, the pool has a good shape and clean, the breakfast is simple but delicious and the room has the enough to rest.

This is our second time staying at Coral Island Hotel. We chose to stay there this time brcause of our previous experience with them. I was surprised to find out the restaurant only offers breakfast and not dinner anymore, which changed our plan a bit but we were able to walk the Malecon and find something to eat. My one and only disappointment was fiding roaches in our room. I am allergic to them and this was a major disappointment when we found a few in the bathroom and two more in the room.

The room was not clean at all. The floors were dirty, the bathroom had hair all over it. The shower didn't have hot water and the drain was clogged. Bed was not comfortable at all. Room was super basic.

We had no wifi in our room then asked for the solution and they just told me to connecting to any others room wifi. Not right

The check-in took an hour even though we paid in advance through ******* which made us miss the sunset. The phone in our room didn’t work (the cable was cut) so I had to come back to the reception to ask for the wifi password. But there is no password!! So not very safe to use. Also had to come back to the reception to ask for a parking pass even though we asked for one earlier. There was a lethargic raccoon next to the reception. The elevators were halfway working.

Good location between old town and Golden zone
On Bus route and lots of taxi’s
Good breakfast every day
Not enough water for drinking, sometimes 1 little bottle for 2 people and not even every day.
