Baymont by Wyndham Medicine Hat

The rooms Herr are very nice, quite comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again as well as recommend it to all kinds of people.

Check in was very slow. Not sure why they needed a $200.00 deposit for incidentals when room paid in full. Had to ask for my id back. Was not confident in my check in. Very disappointed as have stayed here several times before with no issue.

A good place to stay in Medicine Hat, and a city that was not yet gouging for higher prices in Alberta. Very enjoyable time there. Many shopping and food amenities in the area, with a huge parking area. A bit far and not walkable to downtown Medicine Hat. But if you arrive here in Alberta, chances are you came by car anyway.

Didn't like the fact that I had to climb stairs to go for breakfast. There should be well marked elevators readily available for people with disabilities.

I have been staying in this hotel for years but this time for some reason money was taken from my account before I checked in. I stayed with a work colleague but was told we weren't allowed to split the payment this time. I still am owed $106.40 which was released back to me according to their system. Still waiting 4 days later. I didn't want to pay on this card so I also incurred bank charges as it made me overdrawn. Not sure why this is a procedure but because of this I won't be returning. Such a shame as this was my favourite hotel when I came to work in town.

After staying in many hotels and airbnbs, this one fairs really well with some of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed in! Super comfortable!

Check in was very slow. Computer software might be to blame. Our room was ok but the television did not work properly even after we twice had the desk clerk check it out. The telephone and electric clock did not work at all. The hotel seemed understaffed although they were friendly enough. Breakfast was good. Not sure if I’d stay there again.
