The Straits Melaka by Perfect Host

Excellent location , surrounding area is convenient for restaurant and mart , few minutes ride to Jonker street.

Please don’t book this hotel or residence,This hotel is terrible bad customer service, check in time just 3 hours and after booking and make payment but didn’t receive Message from them, and call them no 1 to answer the call, I request to get refund because I fail to check in, but the hotel/residence refuse to refund. I’m travel person 1st time having this unreasonable and bad service.

The property is shared with hotels and other property owners in one same building. Perfect Host was the owner of the property that we are staying with. It works like a serviced apartment except there is no lobby and proper check in. The staff will text you prior to your arrival to arrange to meet at the security counter at a very specific timing where he will appear to hand you the key card for check in. So must take note. The property is just about 5mins walk to Hatten Hotel, which is then connected to the other malls so rather convenient. Just infront of the property is also one of the major pick up location for buses that goes to other parts of Malaysia or Singapore. The rooms is clean and proper, just that it can be seen that the property is a little dated but otherwise still comfortable. Comes with a kitchenette and also swimming pool to use. Highly recommend this property to stay, with prices so affordable it is definitely on my top list. The only downside is there is no Wi-Fi provided. Otherwise, just below the property, there is also plenty of food choices so don't worry about getting hungry!

Excellent location easy accessible to malls & places of interest by walking. Eating places, convenient marts, pharmacy, Watsons just a stone throw away. Check in/out was done efficiently/timely and lifts work fast and friendly checkin staff. Digital lock door, balcony & Attached kitchen with microwave, mini fridge & kettle. Room maintenance average.. balcony can’t locked, tap loose and aircon noisy. Bed area was dusty. NIL free wifi🥹

The location is ideal with many restaurant and shops around the area. The unit is spacious. The amenietis is also good except for waiting time for the lift during peak time. Swimming pool has nice view of the Strait of Melaka. Quite a distance from the historical attraction like the fort and Melaka River. Recommended for a short stay or business trip.
