Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands

I have been there for 16 days and can assure you that it should have been 160 days! It was just amazing and by far the best hotel in Malta if you want beach and pool life. There is a beach area only for hotel guests and water is really clean. The hotel offers a lot of water activity such a boat ski, etc. Of course, even for outside trips, it is very nice, and you can reach them all conveniently. Don’t rent a car; it's useless. Just download the “BOLT app” (similar to UBER), and within 24 hours you can reach any corner of Malta. The hotel is well located for some main tourist attractions (reachable mostly within 20 minutes via BOLT Taxi). Trip from airport to hotel costs via BOLT 33Euro. Breakfast is so big, so much to eat, and daily changes. Dinner buffets, daily changes such as Mediterranean day, barbecue day, etc. There is also an Italian Place, a must-go, within my top 5 pizzerias worldwide. The Indian place I have not tasted. For Kids from 4 to 15, there is so much program, such as a daily water pool, football tournaments, paintings, bingo, and so much more. The best is also the supermarket downstairs, which has good choices and you can buy daily necessities. The rooms are nice, especially if you book the bigger ones with a kitchen. With the supermarket downstairs, you can cook daily (good when you have kids and do not want a buffet). The rooms with a sea view are nice. Get yourself a Radisson Blu membership and save 10% on food. One thing I did not like was the Lagoon Bar, just the ice cream. The ice cream is not eatable there, and the refrigerator is not cool and not for ice-cream (food is great), so the ice cream is mostly melted and waste of money). I will be back soon again. They have many animators with different language capabilities, which is great. On top most beautiful and friendly check-in staff.

We rented a sands tower 2p. suite and it was amazing. We decide on the suite going by the photos and all-in-all reasonable price about double a standard room and it was worth every penny, this is simply the most amazing suite we've ever been in. A very spacious apartment, very large in size, very modern, super clean, frontal sea view terrace, full kitchen, amazing bathroom.. I could go on and on. I also love the details: Nespresso machine and plenty of coffee options, lots of USB charging sockets, 3 large TVs that all allow casting from my phone, good WiFi signal, just a step down from the beach and located in the same building as the restaurants, electric blinds and blackening, no noise from other apartments ... after 100+ reviews this is now the new top of the line - best place we have ever stayed at! To close out, the staff was all very friendly and it seems in low season parking is free. There are great walks straight from the hotel also. We'll surely be back.

Excellent hotel, situated in one of the most scenic locations of n Malta. It is close to the main beaches and to the villages of St Paul’s Bay and Mellieha!

We enjoyed quiteness of the place since Malta cities are one huge construction site at the moment. The variety of the breakfast menu was splendid- we really enjoyed attention to the details when it came to every single time we went for breakfast. Special thanks to Henri for amazing and really welcoming attitude. The spacious area of the hotel assists on reserving enough area for everyone, so one could be sure there will not be any crowded places wherever you go. Did not like the way on how hotel staff could not handle simple stuff - the hotel was booked via ******* platform and even though all the money were deducted at the same time the hotel was booked, we were asked few times to provide evidences of the payment while hotel administration could have reached put to ******* for clarification. The most absurd moment was that the hotel staff asked us to provide the evidences at the time of the check out - 7 days after check in, because the payment according to them was not received yet. So once again - third time, we had to show all the evidences. It is not the experience we expected - mood ruined, our little son was crying because of waiting at all the 'sorry, need to check few things' times. Overall the hotel is fantastic and we would really pick it once again, however the lack of professionalism on dealing with intermediaries providing booking services demonstrates that the staff in the reception is far from what supposed to be expected in 5 star hotel.
