Great hotel, great views, spotlessly clean rooms, kind staff. BUT food was poor. Had the Sunday trio of meats, my yorkshire was like leather, the stuffing ball my husband had he didn't want to even attempt to stick his fork in incase it flew across the restaurant and took someone's eye out. Veg VERY aldente inedible and I do like my veg undercooked rather than over. Roasters unroasted. Such a shame, I now wish I had ordered off the main menu, as obviously everything was left over from lunch service!! Avoid late Sunday lunch ordering.

Me and my good friend visited the Victoria for lunch yesterday.. The food was lovely, never had Seabass so tasty My friend also enjoyed her salmon! Desert wasn’t the best.. The decor was gorgeous and the back garden scenery out of this world! We were served by a lovely young girl Demi. She couldn’t do enough for us, whatever we needed wasn’t a problem When i complained about the desert she went to the manager straight away to have it taken off our bill as we didn’t enjoy it and apologised numerous times, then asked if we would like anything else! This is how a complaint should be dealt with and I think the staff in this place are a true credit. Will definitely be visiting again..

Didn't stay the night but went for food with family Lovely hotel.lovely gardens with views overlooking the menai strait.Food was nice with a good selection on the menu.staff very helpful and always smiling definitely worth a visit.roll on summer

I attended the raft race on Sunday and had a wonderfully cooked Sunday lunch. We were seated in the conservatory and were looked after all day by the wonderful waitress, Charlene. She was attentive, always checking if we and everyone else needed anything. Charlene is truly a credit to the company; she didn't stop all day. Fair play to her. I will be returning again for the reasons above.

Great day out beautiful setting staff were brilliant sat in the beer garden which had wonderful views up and down the Menai Straights and the Carneddau mountains.Great choice of beers and wines and a wonderful menu to boot would definitely visit again

A great place to stay, friendly welcoming staff ,and a lovely hotel . The food and service were amazing a lovely menu with a great selection of choice for everyone . Many thanks hope to visit again . Highly recommend for couples and family breaks away.

Had a wonderful time for our romantic couples night away, hotel was beautiful but what made it for us was the fantastic food and excellent service. Great selections, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come again. Highly recommend for those wanting a great stay with food without the need to leave the hotel

We went with a group of friends for Sunday lunch at The Victoria and had the most amazing meal. The food was fabulous the staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the surrounding perfectly arranged and presented. I can't wait to go back and eat there again.
