We (two couples) stayed at Le Roy Soleil and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location, just outside Menerbes, is ideal to explore the Luberon. It’s a short drive into Ménerbes for dinner options. We also had dinner at the hotel and the hospitality and cooking were both excellent. Our rooms were comfortable. A few reviews have suggested ‘tired’ but for us everything worked fine and we thought they were good value. We’d definitely return.

The whole experience at Hostellerie Le Roy Soleil was absolutely unforgettable. Our plane from Paris to M****illes was delayed and we were going to arrive late to the property. We called the reception from the road and they asked the kitchen to remain open so we could have diner well past their closing time. The menu was delicious and the service impeccable. The property is absolutely gorgeous on a quiet countryside. Large and comfortable rooms. Beautifully arranged gardens and great pool. The only thing you hear all day long are the crickets to put you to sleep. Everybody on the premises is extremely friendly. This is a spectacular place if you want to rest , unwind in an idyllic setting. We will be back !

Although we booked through *********** on arrival there was no confirmation of our booking. Even though I had emailed them to ask for an evening meal, which they confirmed. Yet when we arrived no room at the inn! It was a bank holiday so had to drive another hour and a half to find alternative accommodation.

Made a reservation on ***********, paid in full and confirmed. Arrived for our first day of vacation and we’re told they had our reservation, but there was no room for us. Turned away and spent the rest of our day looking for other accommodation. Sadly, there was another couple in the lobby experiencing the same thing. Seems this was not a one-time error.

Excellente expérience ! Le personnel est très agréable et toujours disponible. Le cadre est idyllique, nous avons séjourné dans une super chambre très confortable. Sans parler de la cuisine du restaurant de l'hôtel, nous nous sommes régalés !

Hotel très calme. L'accueil a été chaleureux et le personnel très agréable. La chambre '' les charmes'' est très spacieuse et confortable. La literie est d' excellente qualité. Tout est très soigné comme en témoignent les photos.

Nous avons tellement apprécié notre séjour avec les enfants lors de nos vacances de cet été que nous sommes revenus en amoureux, pour un week-end, 2 semaines après …. Un grand merci à Joy pour l’accueil chaleureux et les attentions tout au long de nos 2 séjours, à Dominique pour sa disponibilité et son professionnalisme, le personnel charmant et discret. Les chambres terrasses donnant un accès direct à la piscine sont spacieuses et confortables, nous en avions réservé 3, toutes différentes, toutes satisfaisantes, le petit déjeuner servi sous forme de buffet est complet et le restaurant, sans fausses notes . Nous avons pu commander des planches fromage / charcuterie au bord de la piscine quand le restaurant était fermé. Le jardin est luxuriant et le cadre magnifique. Je ne cesse de le recommander à nos amis qui souhaite découvrir la région car en plus, l’emplacement est parfait ! Hâte d’y retourner …

Petit séjour très agréable dans ce joli domaine avec des amis, nous avons trouvé l' accueil de l'équipe très sympathique et bienveillant, le chef propose des menus aux produits sélectionnés selon son inspiration gourmande.

Ne mérite vraiment pas tant de critiques négatives ! Chambre propre et spacieuse bonne situation resto de qualité avec un service parfait bonne situation et globalement bon rapport qualité prix! Y aller sans hésitation.
