We truly enjoyed all the activities at this property and being disconnected. We didn't have cell phone service and the only wifi was in the lobby and restaurant area. Each morning and afternoon there we activities planned from nature walks, a boat ride to the wetlands, and horseback riding. We saw so many animals from caimen, chinchillas, capybaras, deer, foxes, etc. Our kids loved seeing all the animals! We did the night safari walk and it was worth staying up past our bedtime. The meals were okay and the wine list was ample/reasonable. There was always a children's meal or vegetarian option. On our last night there, the guides gave awards to the kids which was really sweet and there was bonfire that had been set up for guests. We drove from Buenos Aires - the last 90min of the drive are on a dirt road so it may best to have an SUV for this portion. We spent one night in Chajari (at the great Estancia La Violeta) to break up the trip. The guides were all kind, spoke english, and answered all our questions. My only gripe would be the rooms - we stayed in the main building and could hear our neighbors (the walls are really thin) and had issues with flushing our toilet. However, would still recommend going for the wildlife and learning more about the rewilding the organization does.

Very tranquil place in the Ibera national park. Reminded us of African lodges. Small number of rooms and therefore very intimate. Nice excursions to the wetlands. Also very interesting to learn about the rewilding project the foundation is involved in.

The rewilding experience is wondrous! The staff is wholly attentive and eager to help. I personally feel that one visit does not encompass the whole experience. The estancia itself offers multiple habitats, the diversity of wildlife on site is stunning.

Gorgeous! We flew in on a light aircraft charter from Airbera.OK, landing on a grassy strip near the ranch buildings. The lodge is beautiful, and our room peaceful and beautifully decorated. Meals were delicious and served in various attractive locations by the attentive staff. Activities such as horse-riding, guided walks, a sunset picnic and a guided boat trip were very well organised. Capybaras, caiman, rheas, foxes, squirrels, deer and masses of birds are easily spotted in the grounds.

We were so glad our agent arranged this for for our four night stay, especially after a long and delayed flight due to weather. Staff was very welcoming, polite and helpful…The chefs and team really made their efforts to cater to customers with special needs…and delivered to our room because I wasn’t feeling very well from my previous travels….offered me warm tea when they passed by my room while I was sitting in the pouch observing the animals just outside the door, while others took day trips…. They were everywhere but not intrusive taking care of me while recovering ….even though sometimes we had to use gestures to communicate but I truly appreciated their efforts! The suite we got for the three of us was spacious. My daughter enjoyed her own room and we three all shared the same bathroom. A thermal and big bottles of hand sanitizer are provided, in addition to the usual supplies. It’s only advisable that if you take a shower in the middle of the day (for some reason because you would be out in the day activities included….), the water temperature can be a bit cooler than in the evening when they obviously raise the temperature for your comfort after you return from the day trips, and I appreciate them conserving energy when not so needed. The only thing not so good (or actually good) is their weak WIFI. You need to stay in the dining room or at the most some corners of the common room….but then you are there to admire the nature so never mind (unless you have unexpected issues about your flight but they were glad to help checking on their computer….) Another issue I saw on some reviews AFTER coming back (still in reminiscing mood): there was no TV…..I didn’t notice there was no TV at all in my entire trip, even I spent at least two days just sticking around to recover….WHO needs a TV in such a beautiful environment full of nature? After dark you can stay in their library and flip through their huge collection of books on nature by the fireplace, or chat with other travellers about what you see during the day. Their organised activities are so educational and our guide Victoria is so knowledgeable and willing to answer all the questions. There was an afternoon of horse back riding in the wetland. My family went and had lots of fun but I didn’t because I was a bit nervous…. But this place definitely does a great job in accordance to the founders’ great visions to conserve and “rewild”nature. In fact after seeing various safaris in Africa in the past two decades, my opinion is that here their conservation and educational projects lead tourists to learn to share nature with wildlife but not destroying nature for our own travel pleasure. I thank the management for their great efforts. The only advice I would suggest was about a small issue about our flight alternatives at the end of our stay when weather was again not perfect to fly to our original airport. Excelente servicio! La hospitalidad de quienes trabajan allí es para destacar! Y la comida una exquisites. Muy recomendado para quienes deseen tomarse unos días de descanso y poder desconectar. El lugar es un sueño. La casa muy cómoda. Estuvieron en todos los detalles. Quedamos muy a gusto y volveremos pronto.
