Villa Orquídea Boutique Hotel

What an incredible hotel to stay at while visiting Merida. The staff could not have been more helpful and the rooms were massive and extremely clean. The pool is just an added bonus. You have made to order breakfasts and it's only really a ten minute walk to the main square or to one of many amazing restaurants. I must highlight the staff again. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible and had plenty of information if you found yourself stuck for plans. When I visit Merida again, I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Excellent hotel.

Very pleasant hotel, but not really central. If you arrive directly from the airport you may well think you have dumped in the middle of nowhere. It's not really that bad,but it is a little remote. The hotel itself is quiet but charming. The rooms are large, there is a small pool and a sun area, and the breakfast is good. Service is pleasant without any problems. In fairness, the pool area, although not latge, is smart. Would we stay again? i think we would look if there was anywhere nicer that was better located, but otherwise yes.

I was here just this last weekend, Miss Lorena and all her staff have welcomed us like no one as never done before, I felt like at home every minute I spend there! The room, the pool, the breakfast....everything was perfect! My room was awesome at the 1st floor, the nr 5 with an incredibly large bathroom, the breakfast was simply amazing, with a lot of fresh fruits and a great variety of choice, everything organic, and biologic...unfortunately I have been only for 2 nights, I wish I could spend a week there! I recommend it for who wanna spend some days to refresh his soul and body... The last tip I can give is to book directly on their website, the fare is significantly lower than you can find on the net. Thank you again Villa Orquidea!

Het zijn super mooie ruime kamers en zalige bedden. De medewerkers waren allemaal vriendelijke en behulpzaam. De tips voor restaurants waren goud waard. Heel lekker gegeten op 47ste straat. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en in een mooie stijlvolle kamer. Echt een topklasse accommodatie.

El hotel está genial, la decoración la cama super grande y las sábanas super suaves. Después de la primera noche, bajamos a desayunar a las 8 y media, y tardamos unos 20 minutos. Mientras desayunábamos nos hicieron la habitación, con todas las cosas que teníamos por en medio, porque no contábamos con que entrasen a la habitación a esa hora. Cuando subimos del desayuno para cojer las cosas para ir a visitar la ciudad coji la cartera que la tenía encima de la mesa, y me faltaba 1 billete de 50€ y 200 o 250 pesos. Tenía preparado 3 billetes de 50€ y 3 de 20€ para cambiar; Y 1300 o 1350 pesos porque lo había contado el día anterior antes de cenar por si no podía pagar con tarjeta en un restaurante, que al final sí que pude pagar con tarjeta, y al cojer la cartera lo conté porque me di cuenta de que faltaba el billete de 50€, y pesos tenía 1100. A si que me robó la señora de la limpieza 200 o 250 pesos mexicanos y 50€. Se lo comente a la chica de recepción y me dijo que era muy raro, que nunca había pasado nada, y estaba la señora (por llamarle de alguna manera) Teresa, que nos hizo la habitación a nosotros y dijo que no había visto ningún dinero, JAJ, si estaba encima de la mesa señora. Ni una disculpa el día de la salida por parte de recepción. Tenéis una manzana podrida en vuestra negocio. Habitación 7, reserva del 6 al 8 de febrero

Super hôtel dans le centre de Merida. Tout peut être fait à pied, il est très facile de se garer dans la rue. Les lits sont très grands, la salle de bain superbe. Une piscine est également disponible. Le petit déjeuner est très généreux et délicieux. Allez y les yeux fermés !
