The staff were truly there for us and tried to accommodate for our needs and wants! It's truly amazing people that work here. I really enjoyed the breakfast but if you're looking for a buffet this is not the place for you. We tried a massage here and it was completely fantastic, the masseuse knew what she was doing and it was so relaxing!

The hotel was very comfortable and we liked the courtyard which was very quiet. The building was impressive and we received very good service from the Reception and Dining staff. The food was good. The pool is small and is more of a plunge pool. We were not so impressed with the location of the hotel. It is a pretty town but there is not a lot to do and it was quite a long walk along a main road to the centre [approximately 20 minutes].

This is a most wonderful boutique hotel in Merida. It is housed in a very tastefully decorated traditional house, each room being individually designed. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks english well, so communication is no problem. We had a quiet and spacious room, very comfortable beds and a great bathroom. The breakfast space is beautiful and also nicely decorated. Breakfast is good and they offer also a small menu for diner. When we asked for a different meal as the ones on the menu they didn’t make a problem out of that and prepared exactly what we wanted. Fantastic ! The hotel also has an interior garden and a (small) swimming pool. We really couldn’t find any negatives ! To be highly recommended !

Loved our stay at Künük Boutique Hotel. Easy to find, park right out front, safe area. Easy to Uber anywhere - main square 20 mins walk so we chose to over. Like an oasis - lovely and tranquil, refreshing pool and serene gardens to relax in. Restaurant and bar area beautiful - and rooms roomy and comfortable. Staff so helpful and considerate. Highly recommend.

This was a nice, clean option that is a 20 minute walk from the historical center. I wish the other reviews had pointed this out -- the walk is not very nice as the hotel is situated along a big street, so you hear noise from cars all night long. And while the lobby/dining room and main reception areas, as well as the massage room, are elegantly renovated, the rooms themselves are situated in a boxy addition to the back that is less graceful. The staff is nice but not very polished, and sometimes it took them a while to acknowledge us or open the door. Overall, we wish we had found an option closer to town.

Loved our experience at Kunuk! The room was so nice and comfortable, and the overall hotel was beautiful. There wasn't much occupancy when we visited (likely because of the location, which is about 15-20 minutes from the center). Even with the distance from the center though, we felt Kunuk was worth it. It was away from all the crowd and noise, and was extremely peaceful. The best part was the staff! Everyone was so kind and helpful! We wouldn't hesitate going back again!

If you are looking for a hotel that is impeccably clean, staffed by gracious and exceptionally kind people, with modern guest rooms paired with the most charming public spaces, enhanced by a truly special pool amidst a perfectly manicured garden - then this is “the place”. If, on the other hand, you aren’t - all good. That will leave room for the lucky few who find this spot in Merida. I find it hard to fathom how a city hotel could be much better.

What a beautiful boutique hotel. From the moment you enter the door, you a greeted with friendly, exceptionally kind staff and a beautiful interior, obviously designed with a balance of taste and sophistication without losing the charm of the city that you are in. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and most overlook the pool surrounded by a lush tropical garden. Breakfast every morning in the beautiful lounge/dining area was outstanding. And drinks before heading out for dinner in the lounge was something we looked forward to every evening. It's a 15-30 min walk to almost anywhere you want to go and Ubers will easily take you any place if you don't feel like walking. I can't say enough about our visit. The owner(s) should be proud.

KUNUK boutique hotel is like an oasis in the center of hot and busy Merida. It is so lovely, peaceful. The garden is lush with tropical plants and palm trees, the pool is very refreshing. Rooms are very very nice, every detail is thought through, all made in beautiful wood. Very well designed, nice amenities. This was a second stay and it did not disappoint. Breakfast is included, all homemade, tasty, fresh. It is also so convenient to have a safe private parking behind the fence in front of hotel. Highly recommend to all who plan to visit Merida.
