We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Alimuri; myself, my husband and our two children (8 and 5). I was hesitant prior to going as the reviews were mixed and we had been placed in the hotel by Tui after our chosen hotel was suddenly unavailable. However, what a beautiful, relaxing stay we have had! We were all inclusive and definitely made the most of it. We enjoyed the food for all meals, which we found to be varied and tasty, and the waiters were fantastic with our children, going out of their way to ensure they were happy and found food they would eat. A special mention must go to Francesco and Amtico who greeted us like long lost friends every time. We stayed in a family suite with a sea view and were blown away by the view. The beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. Our room was refreshed and cleaned and we were left with new towels everyday which was lovely to come back to. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, always smiling but taking their jobs very seriously. We made the most of the free shuttle bus into Sorrento which takes around 20 minutes and enjoyed the swimming pool and beach. The shuttle does have to be booked and fills up quickly, but if it is full there is a public bus that can be caught just two mins away for two euros per adult and takes around 30 mins. Prepare for the windy, busy roads though! The swimming pool looks to have been recently redone and was beautiful to take a dip in, or in our children’s case jump into and splash about! The new decking was finished on our first day and very quickly put to work with extra sunbeds which was a great addition. We also loved how easily accessible the beach was, although very stony so take beach shoes or wear flip flops! It’s worth mentioning that yes, there are some parts of the hotel that are looking a little tired but it was very clear they are working on these parts to make the necessary improvements. The spa was closed for refurbishment during our stay but personally this didn’t impact us as we wouldn’t have used it anyway. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and really hope my review highlights how wonderful the hotel is. Thank you for a brilliant week!

The food was shocking not much to choose as only around six hot options and the rest cold options also very soggy and not much flavour. How it is described is not how it actually is. The drinks come out not fizzy and warm as they come out of a bottle. The rooms were lovely and clean and a good size. Staff were lovely and very helpful. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you into Sorrento but it is awkward times and need to be booked on as the bus only has limited seats

This was our fourth holiday at the Alimuri. Since our last visit in 2019 the terrace has been updated with a bigger swimming pool and new floor of tiles and decking. They were actually working on the decking while we were there, but didn't start work until 10am and it didn't bother us at all. The bigger swimming pool means no more option of sitting on the terrace for lunch and dinner, but the restaurant is lovely so no big problem there. It's great they have kept the traditional "art deco" style and charm throughout the hotel and really hope they don't change it to being modern and boring. The hotel is right on the seafront (no road inbetween) and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The hotel is kept very clean and all staff are so pleasant, friendly and helpful. We were all inclusive and drinks were of a very good standard - Peroni beer, decent bottles of wine, mineral water in glass bottles, big menu of cocktails, branded mixers such as Schweppes, coca cola etc... Food was not as good as our previous visits, but you could always find something. We were looking forward to "pizza night" but it was disappointing, thick dry wedges with barely any topping! There were plenty of other choices though. Lots of desserts - the pistachio cake and chocolate capri cake being my favourite. There were no extra charges for room safe or beach towels. Shuttle bus is great and runs on time, it's also free (apart from late evening run of €2) and you book at reception. This is a relaxing hotel, you will always find a sunbed or table and chairs on the terrace, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere (nothing like the chaotic canteens you get at a lot of all inclusive hotels). They don't mind at all if you take drinks up to your room (which has a fridge). Bed and pillows were very comfortable, bathroom was marble with a double sink and shower over bath. Lovely Italian tiles on the floor. There are small supermarkets and a chemist in Meta (if you don't want to go into Sorrento for essentials). Plenty of boats going from Sorrento to Capri, Salerno, Ischia etc Plenty of interesting sight seeing trips in this area. I would certainly return.

Me and my husband have just got back from a 4 night stay here, we were in the annexe which didn’t look great from the outside but our room was beautiful, double shower which was spotlessly clean and a freestanding bath in our bedroom. Bed was huge and comfortable, fridge in room for cold drinks as well as air conditioning and a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The hotel itself is what I would call ‘classic’ not modern by any stretch but it’s lovely all the same. The pool area was nice, yes they were completing some work on the terrace but it didn’t bother us. Didn’t have to rush to get a sunbed either. There is a small area of private beach which was nice although it’s pebbly so you need appropriate shoes. There is also free beach towels to use. The food was a bit hit and miss but we always found something to eat. Really enjoyed the bread, cold meats and cheese, the salad was lovely and fresh and they also did lamb chops one night which were lovely. I thought the drinks were pretty fairly priced too. Bottle of wine with dinner €18, soft drinks €3 each but you’re always gonna pay a bit of a premium. The free bus into sorrento was a nice touch, we used it twice. The views here are beautiful, we would also recommend the golden beach restaurant located next to the hotel, food and drinks here were lovely and reasonably priced

We have just returned from our 10 day holiday. It's our first time to Italy and our first time with yourselves. The views from our balcony were spectacular, watching the sunsets every evening was amazing. Your staff are a credit to you. Personally thanking the restaurant staff and chefs Francesco, Enzo, Gerardo, Lello, Charlotte, JJ, Ciro, Gennaro, Jinto, Jesbin, Benedetto and Daniel. Their professionalism and kindness was amazing. Nothing was ever to much for them. We was meeted and greated ever day and escorted to our table. Very friendly people. Also thanking Alberto, Alessia, Lucas, Raffaele, Tobia and Daniella from the bar and terrace. Happy people. Not forgetting Luigi our lifeguard, receptionist Concheta and Dolores and the cleaners. Wide variety of foods from the buffet. The food and show cooking got better as the days went on, plus one theme evening. The lamb and veal were the best for us. It's a shame that a lot of the cold dishes contained green and/or black olives which we were unable to try. The cake of Vesuvius was espectacular. Just a few point and suggestions. Entertainment was practically non existent. We experienced the same entertainment every evening with the same male vocalist singing the same songs in the same order. Very boring!! The hotel needs a small supermarket/shop with small items and maybe a few souvenirs. Last but not least we have some major complaints regarding works being carried out during our stay and the spa, but these points will be taken up directly with TUI. Grazie di tutto.
