Marseilles Beachfront Hotel

Great common areas, nice service and restaurant was pretty good, but the rooms are not nearly as nice as the rest. Very noisy (especially if you are facing the street), matresses were squeaky and bathroom is beyond small. If you are in South Beach to party it's a good place, but for R&R after many busy days traveling, this was not the right fit for us.

It is close to the beach and provide free bench and parasol.

We spend a fantastic week. Hotel is well located and in really good shape, staff is so friendly, that was a real pleasure. Public area, pool, bar and restaurant are nices and food is good. You made our stay in Miami wonderfull and you know what hospitality means Thank you

I enjoyed my stay overall. They staff was very helpful, attentive and polite. The most challenging was the size of the room. There was my adult daughter and I. We are both tall so we noted that the beds were "double" size, not queen size as advertised. They are not the same thing. No way two Queen size beds would have fit in that room. The hotel restaurant is decent but nothing we ate was worth "$$$" prices. Also, I was surprised to see the a service charge of 10% on the restaurant bill. I was told that was for tipping the kitchen staff. I've only ever seen the tip that I pay be of my choosing and a customary 20-30%. While I did tip the wait staff the 20% + amount if I have such a bill in the future I'll be more inclined to tip the waitress 8-10%, because I don't like hidden charges. And, perhaps this is just a South Beach thing but not offering drip coffee with free refills is absurd. Regarding parking. It was $23/day on a first come first serve basis. Parking for the four days was paid upfront. On the third day there was no space in the parking area and my $23 for that day was wasted and I had to pay to park somewhere else. The parking lot was not totally dedicated to M****illes customers with is another reason it was hard to find parking in their lot. The lot is small and so it's difficult to get in and back out of parking spaces. Security gate did not close completely in the lot. All that being said it was a nice, clean stay even though overpriced in so many ways.

M****illes Beachfront Hotel was an absolute wonderful stay. The pool was so relaxing with great music to listen to and pool side service of food and drink. The poolside bar had excellent fruity, blended drinks! The walk to the beach was just a minute and the hotel also provided drink and food service to the beach. Our stay included a beach umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach each day. The happy hour was very limited in the choices but still a nice touch. The patio restaurant Chloe's was amazing! We would definitely stay again!

The property was centrally located for restaurants, shopping along Lincoln Ave. The bathrooms are very small with no counter space to place anything (hot curling iron) and the rooms were just okay. It did have a small ledge to place your toiletries. Its an old building. There is no disability access (ramp at entrance). They told me I would have to carry the person and wheelchair into the hotel. The pool and bar area were super cute. And the best part is the hotel was along the beach. I would only come back if for the location.

Okay we decided to stay here after seeing in a number of times we usually stay at the national hotel and decided to try something different. It's generally been rehabbed over the last probably 5 years so it really is nice. The M****ille on the other hand definitely needs some work. It looks like the rooms at least our room had been probably updated I would say within the last 10 years but it was already showing a few signs of wear like the bathroom had this nice like really thick glass sink but it was painted on the bottom and was beginning to peel off so they need to do something about that the shower was fine we had adequate hot water plenty of pressure. What are the weird things was that we had central air which was not working very well. There was also an air conditioner in the window and it was fairly warm and there even though the the temperature outside was fairly cool the front faces the Sun so of course the room began to heat up. That little air conditioner did a good job of cooling the room down I mean the room itself is not that huge so it was not over taxed. I did like the fact that they had these nice blinds that you can lower that would keep the room really dark. A lot of times in these hotels they have barely any kind of sun shade so in the morning when that sun comes up and you want to sleep in you better put the pillow on your head. There's no full service restaurant with surprises me a little bit in a hotel that size. They do serve breakfast & lunch.
