It is quite rare that I write reviews, but my wife and I had to make an exception here as our experience staying for 7 nights at Milaidhoo Island Resort in the Maldives was nothing short of breath-taking.  We got married during the lockdown period in early 2020 and so you can imagine we had been looking forward to our honeymoon for a very long time. Not to mention that it was our first trip abroad since lockdown as well as my wife’s birthday celebrations - so you could say our expectations were high!! As soon as you arrive on the island you are greeted with warm smiles and cannot help but marvel at the island’s unique and tranquil beauty. To further add to our awe of the place as we were walking across the jetty to the island’s reception area a stingray flew right underneath us so as to say a quick hello and bid us welcome.  It is this relaxed and nonchalant a**osphere of the island which invites you in and makes you feel cared for and feel at home instantly. We would like to say a big thank you to some of the staff in particular who made our stay so easy and seamless. Hussy our personal liaison on the island who throughout our stay took care of our daily itineraries and bookings so we could just sit back relax and enjoy the over-water villa and amenities to the fullest. He was always very prompt in his response and very amiable in nature going over and beyond what we might need or ask for. Bella at the Ocean restaurant was so friendly and good natured she made us feel welcomed immediately. To be honest there were so many individual and group encounters with the staff that I can’t name everyone here however I would like to say a big thank you to all the team at Milaidhoo for making our stay truly memorable for sure we will be back again to enjoy the romantic and idyllic surroundings of your beautiful island very soon.

This is one of only two of the ten Islands which we have revisited in the Maldives, the reason for this is obvious, this traditional Maldivian Island oozes all the luxury and friendliness that you come to expect in the Maldives. A Great choice of accommodation and fine dining with all the above delivered with class. Still one of our favourites and you cannot go far wrong with this Island

My husband and I went to Milaidhoo for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The hotel, the island… everything was perfect. Anth helped us with everything and made our stayed unforgettable. All the staff was excellent, Bella which spook a little bit of Spanish and the rest of them were really nice. I can’t say anything negative. Definitely a place to go at least once in your life!

Two of us had a wonderful vacation at Milaidhoo, a tranquil, peaceful and rippling small island. Selected the vacation spot just off the web despite many recommendations by our tour operator for other resorts. After visit, it feels like we have just hit the jack pot for the first time. It’s an extraordinarily relaxing, well designed, beautifully managed luxury resort. From the arrival at the airport till departure there was personal touch and attention to details for all our needs. We stayed at water front villa. Wow!! The layout of the villa, privacy, the pool, deck, air-conditioning, lighting and the linen were the best ever we experienced. We never knew when our villa was cleaned and the linen changed. Never the house keeping knocked our door. But we found the room in perfect order every time we came in from outside. Buffet and ‘a la carte breakfast, lunch at Shoreline Grill and dinner at Ba’theli restaurant was excellent. We tried both Maldivian breakfast and dinner with aromatic super-hot red chilli. It was all great to experience. Our host, Ms Yenny was ever smiling and was there to meet all our needs. She arranged our very personal dinner at Sand Bank, spa and fishing trip. It was wonder to taste the catch at dinner in Shoreline Grill. Thank you very much Yenny. While departing from Male, the smiling representative of Milaidhoo reminded us “ Milaidhoo is intoxicating and one is sure to return.” During the flight home, kept thinking, we could have stayed couple of days more at Milaidhoo.

We (couple m69/f71) had a wonderful stay at the Milaidhoo Island Maldives Resort in February 2022. The water as well as the beach villa, which we both stayed in for a couple of days, are well equiped, clean and with great general facilities. Especially the very personal service provided by Ahmed Mohamed, the island host, made our stay unforgetable: from organizing trips, to lunch and dinner reservations, he was always helpful, while being very attentive yet discete. Hm..what to write it...it was marvellous again, view from breakfast,villa interior,swiming pool, food in restaurants, staff.All was really great.I travel all around the world and just back from USA before trip to Maldives...I can compare it in some things with Palm Beach town-all with style and all is clean, nice,calm...real place to stay - stay and stay...Thanks Milaidhoo and see you again.

First time in Maldives and very nice experience. Room and restaurants have great ocean view. Although bad weather made snorkeling/diving/dolphin watching impossible, the food is fantastic and fulfills the overall experience. We have butler Ammadey (Ahmed) who is soooo nice and responsible, always coming with a warm smile and responding to our questions quickly! Would like to visit again in the future ❤️
