Voyager Beach Resort

Balayı Kabusu! Yaklaşık 30 yıldır müdavimiyim, Kenya yabancı olarak ikinci evim; Voyager mombasa'daki mekanımdı. Kore'de yeni evlendiğim için eşime Voyager'ı şiddetle tavsiye ettim ve sonunda eşime çok üzüldüm... 1. Voyager'a odalar için özel bir hazırlık yapılmasını isteyen bir e-posta göndermiştim: Hamile olduğu için yatakta meyve suyu kutusuyla birlikte çiçekler ve şarap değil, her şeyin onaylandığını söylediler; 12:00'de giriş yapın. Sonuç: Gece 12'den sonra vardım, odalar hâlâ hazırlanmamıştı... bu yüzden öğle yemeği yiyip geri dönmeye karar verdim, herkesin karıma sürpriz yapmaya hazır olmasını bekliyordum... Öğle yemeğinden sonra odaya vardığımızda hiçbir şey hazırlanmadı! Su şişeleri gibi temel olanaklar, ertesi güne kadar istediğimde mevcut değil. Wifi ve cep telefonu sinyali o kadar kötü ki telefonu hiçbir şekilde kullanamıyorum. Camly resepsiyona neden hiçbir şey yapılmadığını sordum. Ve sanırım gözlüklü bayan olan yönetici: Özür dilemek yok ve tamam, yapacağız lmao. Yemek: Yemek kalitesi gerçekten düştü....en şok edici kısım.... Bunu burada açıklayamam çünkü suskun kaldım, yüksek kaliteli çeşitli büfeler ne kadar sıkıcı hale geldi, çeşitlilik yok ve yerel yemekler. . . Geçmiş: Restoranın girişine gelirsiniz, ardından bir görevli sizi karşılar ve yerinize alırdı. Mevcut: Görevli yok, sadece istediğiniz yere oturun... Biraz salata yedikten sonra ana yemeği almaya gittim ve geri döndüğümde başka bir Kenyalı konuğun benim mutfak eşyalarımı (benim kullandığım!) kullanarak masamıza oturduğunu gördüm ve bilginize, çantam oradaydı. oturduğu koltukta... özür bile dilemeden... kendimi gerçekten gülünç hissetmeme neden oldu! Garsonlar ve Sunucular: huysuz görünüyorlar ve bir şey istendiğinde rahatsız edici bir tavır sergiliyorlar... ah! BEYAZ olmadığın sürece! yine LMAO! BTW sabahları ben istemediğim sürece kahve servisi yapılmadı mı? Bu geçmişte norm değildi. Akşam Yemeği: Check-in sırasında size verilen kağıtlarda, (erkek) uzun pantolon giymeniz ve terlik veya sandalet (plaj kıyafeti) giymemeniz gerektiği belirtiliyor, tahmin edin yine ne oldu, hahaha birçok misafir plaj pantolonu veya parmak arası terlikli şort giyiyor! Geçmişte onlara geri dönüp değişmeleri söylendi ama hayır~ kimsenin umrunda değil! Hah PS. Kahvaltı ve akşam yemeğini ödememe rağmen öğünlerimin çoğunu otel dışında yedim. Balayının mahvolmasından bıktım ve resepsiyona gidip ön müdür GEORGE ile güzel bir sohbet ettim. Nasıl hayal kırıklığına uğradığımı anlattım ve Voyager'ın bu kadar saçma bir standart otel haline geldiğini mi söyledim? Özür diledi ve o gece, girişte bizi koltuklarımıza götüren bir görevlinin ve bize yemeğin nasıl olduğunu soran garsonların olduğu ani değişiklikler gördüm (o kadar açık ki bize göz kulak olmaları söylendi hahaha) AMA ertesi gün. ..aynı berbat rutin eski haline döndü... Sonuçta hiçbir anlamı yok! Voyager, anlıyorum ki Kovid sizin için zordu ama diğer oteller de acı çekti ve sizlerin aksine onlar hala standartlarını (yakınınızdaki otel) korumak için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar.... Berbat balayı için teşekkürler ve özür dilemiyorum. Ayrıca resepsiyon, veda etmeden veya kalışımız hakkında soru sormadan çıkış yaptığımız anda bize yabancı muamelesi yaptı. Asla geri dönmeyeceğim! Kwaheri!

Outdated but also neglected. Some of the worst service I have experienced. Wrong room allocation. Rotten meat served at dinner. Rusted fridges in rooms, doors that don’t lock, Aircons that don’t work. Sagging mattresses and old beds. Poor lighting in the room. Forgotten packed breakfasts. Really bad all round. The welcome is great but once you get your room card the nightmare begins. NEVER AGAIN.

We arrived early and Voyager went above and beyond to make us feel at home . They were courteous and friendly. It’s simply fantastic

The all-inclusive experience at this hotel was worth every penny of it. The grounds were extremely spacious with multiple swimming pools with different bars and relaxation areas. There were food options in various locations including an Italian restaurant experience poolside. The all-inclusive meal service was truly fantastic with multiple food stations some with local ethnic foods and themes from all over Africa and even the world. They had excellent fresh juices and fresh fruit in the morning for breakfast as well as an egg station and waffles and crepes every morning. I enjoyed having my poached eggs. The room we stayed in was perfect, with a porch just outside and right next to the cliffs above the crashing waves below which lulled us to sleep every night. There was a beach down below which was very picturesque and great for photo opportunities, plus there were a variety of little vendors set up selling many African memorabilia. I loved the little bar that was perched just above the ocean, very relaxing with comfortable seating and very friendly bartenders. We went there almost every night to relax and talk and enjoy a drink. It was fun watching the monkeys play on the grounds next door to this place as well. This spot is also perfect to propose to your future wife... 💗 The service was exceptional, Peter from the front desk was always super friendly and helpful. The waitress Shilla charmed me with her Shilla Special drink which she custom made for me. All

Amazing place, service is great, you can test the great service and the real taste of Africa. If I go back I will go to this resort

We liked the hospitality and friendliness of the staff.

The first "ocean view" room I was given was down a secluded hallway at the corner of the property. Traveling alone as a woman, I didn't feel completely safe there. The view was mostly of a barbed wire fence, but you technically can see the ocean. People I knew that didn't pay for the upgrade had a better view of the ocean. I asked to move, but it took until the next day before they were able to accommodate. The second room was exactly what I expected on booking. Takeaway: if you're a woman alone, ask for a room on the second level or higher.

The staff at property was very friendly and professional. Overall property is beautiful with the nautical theme. Rooms and amenities were, however, somewhat lacking. I got an “upgrade” to a beach front property and the room was in need of renovation especially the bathroom which had worn rusty fixtures. We had 2 rooms and the other room was in similar condition. I was there for 4nights and asked each day at the front desk and the housekeeper in person for 2 hand towels which we never got. Spent the visit with only 2 large towels. The food was just ok. They had different country themes each night but the food looked the same all the days I was there. The beach is non-existent. In fact there are signs posted that says no swimming. The “beach” is either covered in water up to the property line or is a slimy sandbar with sea**** based on the movement of the tide.
