Hotel Liberty Resort

This is a case of you pay for what you get, but for the same price, we stayed in much nicer hotels and guest houses in Tunisia throughout our trip. The positives; the hotel is affordable and in a decent location, within walking distance of the beach, the pool is also great and the food was good. The downsides; The hotel is very outdated and aged, the bedding cushions, bed spreads, napkins and table cloths were all stained and worn (the cotton bed sheets were fine however). Some of our bathroom towels were not washed and cleaned at all, our hand towel still had the previous guests make up wiped on it. The aircon in our room didn't work, so we had to sleep with the balcony sliding doors open, which made for a nosey nights sleep. The reception staff and some of the other staff were professional and friendly, but in the main, the waiters and kitchen staff treated you like they were doing you a favour, some didn't even bother to help when asked - like for a menu or a drink for example. Some of the attitudes I saw towards other guests, was very poor. When we paid for our dinner, our 35 Tunisian Denar meal, suddenly became 45, clearly the rest was going to be pocketed so we refused to pay the extra fee that came out of no where. To be brutally honest, that was the worst customer service we had experienced in a hotel to date. Overall the guests at the hotel we fine but there were some very drunk guests, literally falling over and stumbling everywhere, with one girl was so drunk, she didn't even realize her boob was hanging out of her bikini. We were so happy to get out of there when we checked out.. The worst hotel we had stayed in in Tunisia.

Me and my boyfriend just got back from a lovely 1 week stay at this resort. The whole hotel team were so lovely and welcoming, especially Houssem behind the bar who went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay! Food was also great as well the cocktails, which we set the record for consuming 61 in a day!! 😂 They also have an animation team who are all amazing; each coming round throughout the day chatting and getting to know us. There were also lots of activities, which we thought were great fun for both children and adults. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel anymore, we throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

My girlfriend (21F) and I (21M) stayed here for a week in May and had the best time! All the hotel staff were wonderful, so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure all guests were happy! (especially Houssem!) We were glad to hear that all inclusive really is all inclusive here, no drink limits etc... They also have a full entertainment team who were brilliant and so friendly, they spent so much time with everyone in the day and evening and were so much fun! They hosted optional activities throughout the day such as archery and darts, suitable for all ages. Rooms were great, plenty of pool space and sun-beds. Overall I would highly recommend this to anybody. Thank you very much once again!

the food was nice the room was really good aswell but the best thing of all were the entertainment people. me and my family said that they make the hotel better, theyre really friendly they do alot of activities like dancing,karaoke,darts,french balls and archery. I have to say rio was one of the best as he was full of energy everyday and night, Luca is really nice to everybody, all of them will come talk to you and start a conversation. the bar men are really friendly too and make nice drinks

Very nice hotel, very clean, animators very nice, lovely and helpful, large selection of food during meals, rooms cleaned every day, very nice atmosphere, you will not be bored here, the pool provides attractions such as various types of games and water gymnastics, I highly recommend this hotel and especially the animators!!!＜3

Had a great time at liberty resort, the receptionists were so welcoming to me and my family.. everyone was really great actually - the barmen, waiters, cleaning staff, and we can’t forget the animation team who my kids had a fabulous time with! The food was delicious as it was last time, and our rooms were clean on arrival and also cleaned on a daily basis if we wanted so. There were loads of activities for us parents and the kids, so we always had something to do! If you get a chance, go to the beach, which you can access through the hotel itself.

Back again at Hotel Liberty! Me and hubby loved it here so much that we had to come back - the buffet was varied and so yummy, we got to try a different traditional Tunisian dish everyday. The Animation team gave us the best time as expected, always having a great laugh with them. Lovely holiday overall.

This was my first time in Tunisia and I don't regret it. It was great. The animators are very friendly and it made me feel very nice there. The hotel is great and I liked it very much, one of my better trips. Maybe Tunisia itself is littered but the monuments that are there are very pretty
