Sahara Beach Aquapark Resort

First time in Tunisia and was very impressed with Sahara Beach from the minute we arrived we were given dinner even though it was late was such a lovely touch after a long journey.. The staff go above and beyond and the animators are so lively and friendly and even if not joining in activities they go out of your way to talk to you which was lovely. I was sceptible being a 3 star but was pleasantly surprised beach and sea are beautiful and can always get a sunbed and the pool mat guys were always there with a mat. unless you wanted a poolside one but we were happy further away. Food was great and great for the teenagers to have late breakfast available and afternoon snacks available. My only downside was the evening entertainment was a bit lack lustre and bit repetitive and apart from the white party every Saturday which was amazing it does need some improvement especially having older kids. Drinks and bar staff always had smile on their face and Sam organising quad bikes was our favourite and did it twice so fun and horse riding was also a must. Great watersports too at reasonable prices. Overall would recommend and would have a great time and we hope to return again some day but do like to visit different places.. The hotel is a 3 star the place is immaculate the staff are so helpful and friendly, always happy to help , the food was amazing lots of variety for adults and children , the hotel is only a 3 star because the hotel needs updating, there is nothing 3 star about everything else

AMAZING HOLIDAY where do I start.. Upon arriving at the hotel weather was great. Got a warm welcoming with refreshments. A gentleman showed us to our room and took all of our bags for us. The hotel was very clean rooms were great with a balcony. Very clean and well set with aircon. The maids cleaned every day and even put towels and nightmare into bows and swans The hotel had everything you needed shops, bars, restaurants, out door and indoor pools plus a aqua park with slides, night club, private beach, crazy golf, go carts, quad bikes archery tennis football courts, stables and so much more. The pools were great plenty of sun beds and places lay and relax. Weather was great. Lots of sunshine. Just take your own towels as they provide bath towels but not pool or beach ones. All the staff were great and friendly. The entertainment staff were ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. Work so hard from morning to early hours entertaining children and adults very friendly and always smiling and interacting with all. They entertain with lots of different activitys dancing, water polo, Gymnastics, volly ball, party's and lots more. Zizo was fantastic at Gymnastics. Such a lovely Gentleman we had a good conversation with him too. He's a super star. All entertainment staff need a gold star for the hard work and determination they put in. My daughter named one of them maui not sure why but he was deffinetly her favourite he had dread locked hair tied up. Night entertainment was great dancing shows bingo music and raffle. Along with great waiters that clear up and bring drinks out for you. They deserve a thank you for their hard work. However there boss never seemed happy always looked like he was telling them off for talking to customers which isn't great if you happen to see it. He clearly doesn't want them to use customer service Although they all did. Kids discos and the shows finished at 10:30 ish then the pubs and night club were open after that. If you come across horse man he's also great he arranges 1h horse rides to the beach. Very friendly and chatted every day. My daughter loved the horse ride. Its a must if you see him. You can also venture out the hotel to near by places so much to see shops markets marina. You can get there by taxi bus or horse and cart. Thank you to all the people that were there bar staff entertainment team maids ect you all work so hard there the people on the front line of it all. We've had the most amazing time and % we will deffinetly come again.

We stayed from 21 June-1 July 24. After travelling and staying at different resorts for 25 years I can honestly say that this is one of the best we have ever stayed at! Our room wasn’t ready so after waiting for a few hours we were given a free upgrade by the Hotel, which was absolutely brilliant! We cannot fault the Hotel in any aspect! The rooms and facilities are kept spotless, the food in the restaurant is kept hot and replaced continually, (using the same hygiene and regs regarding cooked food as in the UK, it seems) The free Italian meal is a big must, it was delicious!, and the Staff very attentive, working really hard! We took cups and glasses as advised but didn’t need them as the only paper cups given to us were for take aways. The beds are really clean and comfortable. The pools also clean and well looked after! But by far what stood out for us were the amazing Staff, who worked so tirelessly and hard, nothing being too much trouble for them! A big shout out to Ameur our waiter, he was absolutely fantastic and to Kiko (animation Team). SAHARA BEACH - You have an absolutely wonderful team of Staff!

Amazing hotel, staff are the best. Clean tidy, pools are amazing, friendly atmosphere. Food and choice excellent. Did horse riding, Quad bikes, Paragliding, Etc.... The cleaning staff are amazing each day room clean tidy and all the mess the kids made cleared.

We arrived on the 23rd - 30th June, from start to finish this was the best hotel resort and holiday we have ever had, my wife, myself and our 16 year old son arrived at lunch time, strangely it is the same time there as Scotland UK, on arrival you check in at reception (the staff are very helpful) you then pay your tax and you can change your English Money into Dinar (they don't take Scottish notes) then off to your room, a porter will help take your bags, there are lots of lifts, we stayed in room 2609 on the 6th floor, rooms are on the small side but did us fine for the week, we only used it to change and sleep, there is a small balcony with a beautiful view over the pools, beach and sea (stunning), walk in Shower, toilet and sink with large mirror, all cleaned daily with fresh towels and toilet paper, Cleaners are lovely and friendly, the beds are firm (orthopedic) but very comfy, sheets or duvet, WiFi in rooms is great, when you go to the restaurant you are allocated a table for the duration of your stay which is a fantastic benefit not having to look for a table, big shout out to Fhati our waiter he was so friendly and always cleaned the plates off the table and topped up our water (you get a bottle of water on table at dinner) there are two huge restaurants so never too busy, food was amazing and there is something for everyone (I'm fussy and didn't have a problem finding something) there is also some tasty desserts and ice-cream, Hotel has everything you need and we didn't venture out the resort, it has 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor, our favourite was the middle quieter pool, we never had an issue getting a lounger but if you want a parasol you need to get up around 5:30am to bag one, the pool guys are great and will help get you loungers with padded mats which all are all free even on the beach, (spoke to some people on our way home who had stayed in other resorts and had to pay for loungers and even bottles of water) you have the animation pool with a bar and a smaller higher level pool with a bar with snacks like pizza, fries, chicken nuggets and paninis all very tasty, the drinks are ok some local alcohol, beer, vodka, rum, gin, wines juice but all were good, I loved the Grog (Red Rum). From the Animation Team to all the Bar staff and Pool Guys to the restaurant workers activities guys they are all amazing and can't do enough for you, shout out to the spa guy, activity guy and of course Mr Horsman he always asked us to go on the horses on the beach but it's not our thing, it did look fun but I have allergies, we didn't do the entertainment event night as it's more for the younger families with Kids, the Animation Team are great always working hard asking us to join in or do activities but not to pushy and are happy to sit and have a chat, shout out to Kiko (wee man) and the guy with the sideshow bob hair.
