Motel 6 Monroe, La

The pictures of the room online did not match up to the room we ended up getting. It was supposed to be a smoke free room and smelled like smoke. The sink leaked when you used it. There was supposed to be a fridge and microwave which wasn’t there. Everytime you used the bathroom the toilet moved like it was loose or something. When you used the shower it smelled like dirt or mold in the air. I believe the online pictures may have been from one room that had been remodeled but ours definitely wasn’t. Staff was nice! No issues there. The room just didn’t match what we were shown online.

FRIENDLY GREETING BUT THERE WAS NO TOWELS OR REMOTE. HAD TO UNPLUG THE SMOKE DETECTOR IT JUST BEEPED ALL NIGHT. LOST OUR KEY THE SECOND DAY AND THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE EXTRA KEYS.

I got a free room upgrade from the friendliest Clerk! I was a little leary of the neighborhood though.

The pictures online Do Not look like the room in person!!!!!! The pillows was flat, two adults in the room with one face towel, I went to the front desk to ask for another face towel and the guy said they didn’t have extra towels so I had to take a shower with a hand towel!!!! I am very, very, very disappointed with the service!!!! I want recommend this Hotel!!!!

The rooms have been upgraded and more decent than the previous stays. We’ve stayed here countless of times BUT the clerk at the front desk vibe was off. My sister and I don’t have the same skin tones and that apparently matters to that one particular clerk. (Possibly owner) I found out that certain rules apply only to certain people

The staff was not very helpful or friendly!! Not hospitable at all!! Short with information and conversation. Stingy with clean towels.

Water leaked all over the bathroom somehow when we got back after checking in. Had wet feet from that. Also rained that night so ceiling leaked all over. Don’t even have blankets as covers. Basically curtains for blankets. It’s a cheap motel but the price for what we went through was still too high

Problem with staff and will never visit motel again.Low class and arrogant people.

The guy that checked me in came to my room and stood at the doorway, it was very creepy, I’m glad my husband was with me because to do that to a woman by herself would be unacceptable. The bathroom floor and the shower were extremely dirty, I felt that I had to go buy shower shoes to take a shower. There was only one towel and only one roll of toilet paper. The one towel was stained and dingy. The key got updated every day, which is fine if one of the two people I talked to had bothered to tell me that before we were trying to get into our room the next day and the key didn’t work. The TV didn’t work and when we tried to turn it back off we couldn’t, so we had to unplug it. Finally, we had a hard time sleeping because there was plastic on the bed so every time one of us moved it made obnoxious noise. This experience was so bad that we decided to leave a day early, driving home on Christmas Day just so we could be in our own house again.
