Aura Toscana

This felt like staying as a guest in someone’s home. Hosts Alessandra and Guido are very welcoming. The property is so beautiful overlooking the valley with mountains to the side. We did not know there was a pool which was a fantastic surprise as we arrived in a heatwave. Dinner was a delicious pork chop on the first night and roast beef on the second. Breakfast is served in the pretty glassed in room overlooking a great view. The road to get to the property is long skinny and bumpy but we encountered no other drivers and arrived and departed without issues. We stayed in the lavender room with and excellent bed, and a great shower.

Paradise Personified Paradise personified! My hosts went out of their way to make sure my trip was successful...even provided transportation to Grotto Guisti...walking among the olive trees was magical. Grazie!!!

Our room was spacious and clean and charming with a comfortable bed and gorgeous view of the surrounding hills. The common area downstairs was enclosed in glass, affording stunning another stunning view. Despite it being January, the entire place was warm with a fireplace and wood burner in the common areas. Our hosts were gracious and generous. The food was outstanding. We opted to eat our dinners there, in part because the food was so good, but also because visiting a restaurant would have required driving for 15 minutes or longer. My wife's luggage went missing during our flight from Korea, and our host kindly got on the phone with the Italian delivery company to ensure that it reached us as soon as the airline had recovered it. There are some great scenic walks that can be taken from the property. We walked to Larciano Castle on one day, which took us about two hours each way. We took a one- hour drive to Lucca on another day and saw the sights there. Visitors should probably use Google Maps to locate the premises, which is halfway up a small mountain. I'm pretty sure we'd have had difficulty finding it otherwise.

Agriturismo situato nel bosco con un bel panorama soprattutto dalla veranda chiusa a vetrata. Si può usufruire di una colonnina elettrica con servizio a pagamento. Un’ora da Lucca e da Pisa. La strada non è proprio confortevole per salire su ma piano piano ci si arriva. I proprietari sono molto gentili, cortesi e alla mano. Abbiamo pernottato due notti nella camera Margherita molto spaziosa, anche il bagno. Colazione e cena fatta in struttura ed era tutto buono.

Fantastisk ro, kvalitet og udsigt Vores ophold på Auro Toscana (Tidligere Campo Fiorito) var en sand fornøjelse fra start til slut. Hotellet ligger afsides på en bjergtop omgivet af olivenlunde, og allerede ved ankomsten blev vi mødt af en udsigt, der tog pusten fra os. Turen derop fik os et øjeblik til at tvivle på, om vi var på rette vej – men belønningen for at fortsætte var stor. Auro Toscana er en lille perle, hvor ro, afslapning og ægte toscansk charme går hånd i hånd. Stedet er for nylig overtaget af et ungt, energifyldt par med masser af ideer, og deres gæstfrihed er varm og oprigtig uden at være påtrængende. De tilbyder ikke à la carte-menu, men serverer hver dag en veltilberedt dagsmenu for dem, der ønsker at spise på stedet – en hyggelig og smagfuld oplevelse i sig selv. Poolområdet er måske ikke stort, men det passer perfekt til stedets intime atmosfære. Solstolene er placeret både ved poolen og under de skyggefulde oliventræer, så man kan vælge mellem sol og skygge, alt imens man nyder den betagende udsigt direkte fra poolkanten. Værelserne er indrettet i klassisk, italiensk stil med himmelsenge, hvilket passer smukt til omgivelserne og den autentiske stemning. Vi rejste som to voksne og kan varmt anbefale stedet til par, der søger kvalitet, ro og ægte toscansk oplevelse. Vi glæder os til at følge Auro Toscanas videre udvikling – og vi vender uden tvivl tilbage, når ferien igen går til dette område.

Pessima esperienza e totale mancanza di serietà – attenzione! Avevo prenotato un soggiorno tramite Smartbox per il 27 dicembre, per me, il mio compagno e mia figlia. Purtroppo quel giorno il mio compagno ha avuto un problema di salute, così ho avvisato l’agriturismo che saremmo arrivati solo in due. Il titolare, al telefono, mi ha detto con gentilezza che non c’erano problemi, che avrebbe bloccato il mio buono Smartbox e che avrei potuto riutilizzarlo in un secondo momento. Oggi che finalmente posso partire, lo contatto… e con mia sorpresa mi dice che ha venduto l’agriturismo e che non è più affar suo. Eppure su WhatsApp ha ancora il logo dell’agriturismo, quindi a me sembra una scusa per non onorare quanto promesso. Preciso che non ho mai annullato la prenotazione, avevo solo avvertito che saremmo stati in due anziché tre. Lui stesso mi ha proposto lo spostamento come favore, non l’ho chiesto io. In pratica: mi sono fidata, e ho perso tutto. Non so se davvero ha venduto o no, ma quello che è certo è che non si è comportato in modo corretto né professionale. Sconsiglio vivamente di prenotare qui, soprattutto se utilizzate un cofanetto regalo: rischiate di perdere soldi e tempo, come è successo a me.

Agriturismo accogliente, personale gentile, accogliente, professionale. Pulizia delle camere soddisfacente. Ubicazione fantastica, con vista incredibile, tranquillità assicurata. Abbiamo utilizzato anche il ristorante (solo cena) ed assaporato una fiorentina eccellente. Unico elemento da migliorare :strada sterrata non breve con diversi punti un po' impegnativi che potrebbero essere oggetto di miglioria. Ma ne vale veramente la pena!!!!!

Luogo incantevole immerso nella natura, ottimo per relax totale, proprietari gentili e accoglienti, camera molto romantica, comoda curata e pulitissima. Colazione e cena con cibo di qualità. È presente anche una piscina attrezzata che però ancora non attiva ovviamente, ma garantisco che il belvedere è la posizione merita veramente. Bellissimo panorama anche dalle vetrate del locale dove viene servita la colazione e la cena. Grazie della bella esperienza!
