I booked a 2 bed-2 bath unit in July. 2 weeks before we were to travel, I get a call from the owner saying 'Since you are 2 adults and 1 child, would you switch to a 1 bed-1 bath unit'. I didn't agree to that and they said they would make some calls and see if they can still get us the unit we booked. Day after this call, the entire payment went through for the 2 bed-2 bath unit. When we show up, it is a 1 bed-1 bath unit with a pull out double bed in the living area. Spend 1.5 hours with Booking to resolve this. Hopefully, after seeing this, they'll change their description (which still shows 2 rooms with 2 beds). During this call, they refused to refund, as well as provide the 2 bed-2 bath unit we wanted and paid for. I also received a call from the owner who said that he changed it since my profile showed 2 adults and 1 child. I think I can book any size property for as many people I want as long as I am willing to pay their specified cost and stay within their guest limits. He claimed to have texted and called me, which was a lie and easily verified through our service providers. He also tried to blame it on Booking, which was a low blow, in my opinion. They have NO pictures or any specifications for a 1 bed-1 bath unit. All their unit pictures showed just a 2 bed-2 bath unit. When I received their first call at the end of August, I noticed they had increased their prices for a 2 bed-2 bath unit by almost $200 and to me, it looked like they got greedy. I look forward to hearing their response here, especially to the paint roller in the refrigerator and a mattress with some linen stuffed into a bag !!
