Sandals Montego Bay (Smb)

For the Butler room it was beyond expectations, small, a/c on its last leg, no ventaliation in bathroom caused heat and humidity. We have been to many other Sandals with a butler experience and this by far was the worst. We will not be staying here again.

Excellent visit. My wife and I have stayed at a couple of other resorts and this one had the best food. My wife has to be gluten free and they were very well prepared to be able to accommodate her with safe food to eat. All of the staff were incredibly nice and always wanted to take care of the guests of the resort guests. My wife and I ended up hanging out by the heated pool most of the time. That was our oasis for the week. The lunchtime options for food were excellent. We enjoyed all of them. My biggest complaint of the week came almost as soon as we walked in to our room. We purchased a "Crystal Lagoon Honeymoon Oceanview Luxury Room." My problem is that the room could best be described as "Oceanside." We did not really have a view of the ocean from our room. The room itself was very nice though. I wish Sandals would just clarify the names of the room to actually project what the view would be.

Paradise is an understatement! HUGE shoutout to Orlando at the aqua center for helping me overcome my fear of snorkeling!!! He was an amazing guide for all water sports and a great educator on Jamaican culture!!! Until next time Sandals!🥂☀️🏖️🐠

Me and my husband went to Sandals Montego Bay for our honeymoon. We honestly couldn’t have choice a better location! The luxury of Sandals is unmatched from the moment you arrive in the airport through ever part of the resort. Phil & myself met some amazing people on the island that we would return just for them! Entertainment team: Kemar, DJ Java, Ashwanna, Kevaun, Scion. Bartenders/Servers: RuShane, Cressia, Akeem, Leonardo, Davion. We seen these people our entire 5 day stay and they really made it worth our while! Easiest the best vacation we’ve ever had! It was an honor to meet the sandals Montego Bay employees.

I want to start that my husband and I have been to different Sandals resorts and has been our go to for Christmas and New Years for over 15 years. We normally enjoy our time and find the staff helpful the resort clean and comfortable. This was by far the exact opposite from day 1 at this resort. The staff was unhelpful the hotel was tired and not to the standards that you pay for these rooms. We could have stayed somewhere much nicer for the same amount a REAL luxury hotel. We spoke with many others that felt the same that it was one of the worst Sandals experiences they have had and have been loyal sandals patrons. More than one couple stated they would use there free week they had coming up and never stay at a sandals again. Sandals resort have lost their focus and their way. Management was no better they did not follow up or follow through on their promises. IT was so bad our last day we had an evening flight we were at the front to get the shuttle to the airport and they kept saying he was on his way. THEY NEVER EVEN CHECKED. We were getting worried we would miss our flight it was so late they finally got the shuttle there and the driver asked why we waited so long he was sitting in the lot waiting for over an hour for the desk to call him up. General manager is useless, hotel manger is useless therefore all the staff are guess what useless??? Sorry Sandals there are much better resorts out these and we will no longer give you our time or our money.

First time at Sandals MB. Food was good. Drinks were good. Massages were amazing. Thank you Alexica and Carlene in the Spa. Other Service was not so good. Got eye rolls at Oleander when checking in for dinner. Asked a female staff member to take our picture she acted like that was such a chore. Gift shop staff rude. Housekeeping was amazing. Room service was great and pretty fast. Entertainment …. there is not much at night. No good shows. Sandals needs more live music and entertainment. AC not working got up to 86 in the room and never seen anyone after calling to report it on the last day. Overall I don’t think I will ever come back or go to another Sandals. I came 7 years ago to Iberostar Grand Rose Montego Bay the pool swim up was so much better and bigger. The service and entertainment at night was much better and the people went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Maybe just a new era of people or workers but not impressed Sandals.

A Great resort very friendly and the food in the restaurants was really good an excellent standard the beach and other areas were clean. We can’t wait to go back

We just spent 10 nights here for our honeymoon and loved every second of it! I’m vegetarian and was worried about food options but I had no trouble eating at all the restaurants and the food was very tasty. We stayed in the crystal lagoon honeymoon butler suite and couldn’t fault it. Our soaking tub on the balcony was epic and our room (1007) had a perfect view of the piano pool bar and the ocean yet despite being central we were never disturbed by noise. Several staff members made our stay amazing and I’d like to personally give them all a shout out in the hope that the resort give them the recognition they deserve: Kaii - our wonderful butler! Kaii never failed to bring us a morning cocktail and she always brought me a veggie pizza without cheese for lunch. Thanks for the chats and teaching us about your wonderful country and for not being offended when we managed to walk right past you before dinner on our last night, we didn’t mean to I promise! Chris Elliot - you sir are a legend. Chris went out of his way to look after a sick kitten that I’d trapped, get him to the vets and get me an update on him before we left. He was also keeping an eye on a lovely ginger boy with bad eyes for me and was planning to take him to the vets this week. Thank you for everything that you do and for always stopping to talk when I saw you. Akeem, Stephen and Davion - you guys made our whole honeymoon! Every time you saw us at the swim up pool bar you mixed us up some great cocktails (the pink crush being my absolute favourite) and you made everything so fun. Thank you for always greeting us with a smile when we saw you and for making us feel like part of the club. You guys rock! We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this resort as we both had an amazing time. Everything was clean and well maintained. The atmosphere was very chilled and we could always find a quiet spot or a party spot depending on our mood. It was our first trip to the Caribbean and to a Sandals resort and we will definitely be back.

This was our first Sandals trip and we chose Montego Bay and it was amazing! Beautiful resort, views were breathtaking. Staff were wonderful, food and drinks were great. Overall amazing trip
