We went to Montrose to get Christmas candy from Leopold's. We casually asked if there was anywhere nearby they'd recommend to eat. The staff called "The Inn" in unison. Were they ever right! It's a little pricey (we splurged on two of the specials), my friend had salmon with mango salsa; I had chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese and dill. We both had green beans -- you may think "green beans! How boring!" No! They were excellent! My dinner partner had French onion soup; I had the taco soup. We are in Binghamton, only a half hour drive. They have an outdoor dining area and we are already planning on going again when the weather is nice. "Pricey" is a relative term. Is it really "pricey" when you get filled up with quality ingredients prepared well? Actually, we spent more on Christmas gifts at Leopold's!
