ATKV Eiland Spa has the best facilities, clean all around, was camoing with friends and we had the best time

Very friendly people and a very neat resort. Will be awesome if they will start to invest in private ablution facilities, especially for the stands that are quite far, like the F-Block. Great holiday activities for the entire family!

ATKV Eiland is a great place for family camping. Clean, tidy and professional with lots to do. Facilities well maintained and very clean. Activities well planned with a contingency for bad weather as well.

Peaceful and tranquil surrounded by Nature. Focused on the Afrikaans families. Children are entertained all day and the parents are able to just be. Unfortunately the warm water swimming pool does cause severe ear infections and the closest Dr to subscribe antibiotics is a hours drive away. And of more than one child need to see the Dr, the amount can quickly accumulate. Therefor use the pool at your own discretion... And try not to get water in your mouth, ears or nose...

Eiland Spa is what you'd expect from an ATKV resort (Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuur Vereeniging). It's neat, well kept and maintained, safe for the entire family and such a great holiday destination. The self-catering units are awesome. I had one or two small things that irritated me about the recent unit that we stayed in, hence the slightly lower rating. But generally it is perfect.

The venue is very quiet and soothing to the mind. Very useful for clearing one’s mind. I will visit the resort as much as possible as is clean and provide multiple activities. I will sure do spend more days on my next visit

We booked and pre-paid a camping stay at ATKV Eiland between the 25th and 28th August. On our arrival last Friday we drove through to our allocated campsite and the place was a shambles. It was so overcrowded we did not even have space to fit our car, tent and trailer on the site! We made a U-turn and departed 20 minutes later and had to look for alternate accommodation at additional expense, after writing off R1900 we pre-paid already. I received an Email from ****************************** …to submit a review, which I did, explained my unhappiness and got an Email back saying “we are glad you enjoyed your stay” It really seems that if poor service is received from ATKV Eiland, nobody really worries very much Very disappointing indeed!

Ideal place to refresh, relax, a suitable getaway to recover from busy work schedule. The resort is versatile , as it can host three generation, i.e my parents, my partner and my children. Nice walk way ideal for morning walk. Also covers the cyclist who have leisure ride within the resort. The hydro Spa is to die for and the other warm pool outside.

This was our 10th vacation at Eiland Spa since 2013 and probably our best one yet! Really can't complain about anything worth mentioning. A nice addition was the bring-and-braai invite for all guests on the Monday evening. Will hopefully spend many more relaxing holidays at Eiland!
