The room, overall, was better than the dated paint, with spots needing stucco repair, and the check-in lobby would indicate. The hotel agents are behind a glass wall with a pass-under to pass credit card, ID, etc., which was a little surprising as I would not have guessed it's a high-crime area. (?) Areas of the exterior stucco/Dryvit have been damaged and need repaired. It overall doesn't look as nice and fresh as the photo here shows....the trim colors aren't even blue.
The inside was OK, but someone had smoked in this non-smoking room, housekeeping (I assume) had peed in the toilet and not flushed it, and there was moldy coffee still in the coffeemaker carafe. The rest of the room seemed clean, but those were off-putting, of course.
The bed, although a little squeaky getting in and out (I was a solo traveler) and pillows were comfortable.
Internet was too slow to carry on a Teams call, under 1Mbps.
"Breakfast" was a selection of packaged muffins or danishes and nothing else. No cereal, no fruit, no oatmeal, no yogurt and granola, no waffle maker. The coffee was hot and decent, though.
