Pousada Minha Louca Paixão

My husband and I were in Morro de São Paulo to celebrate our honeymoon. As it was important for us to celebrate this occasion we decided not to look too much for money, so we decided to stay at Minha Louca Paixão. At arrivals we were given two glass bottles as the property has a sustainable approach and we liked it! The receptionist that checked us in was a bit unmotivated, not sure is her usual approach or she’s just like that. Anyway, she told us that the water in the mini bar in the room (in cans, specifying they were blue and orange - still and sparkling) were included in the price. Unfortunately at check-out we have been charged for them even though we explained we were told they were free. We booked one of the basic rooms as they were too expensive. Despite being the “cheapest” option the rate is overpriced or, at least, for what we got. The room was not very comfortable, one socket close to the bed (and when we asked at reception for an extension lead we were told to enjoy our stay. Even if it was a joke, in my opinion must be avoided as it is our business what we do during our holidays. All the other sockets were occupied for the devices in the room (fridge, television, etc) The lady that was close to the reception (from the housekeeping team I guess) heard our request and went to check if they had one, no luck. For the money we paid we were expecting them to try to find one. In the room we found a welcome card (not sure was just specific for us as it wasn’t mentioning anything about our honeymoon and a voucher for 2 free drinks). The glasses of the windows were dirty. In the balcony there was no hammock (on their website there is written that all the rooms have one). When asked to reception we were told that some rooms might not have it and then told us that somebody would have brought one. No one came. We had to ask again the following morning. The bathroom smelled as damp. The wire of the hairdryer was completely full of mould. The drain of the sink was very slow and the bathroom got blocked more than once. The breakfast was great, all the people working in the restaurant/bar were amazing. We only had an inconvenient with a meal as we asked for a moqueca de camarão and we were charged something else instead. This happened as the online menu was not the same as the one in the restaurant. Luckily this has been sorted at check-out as it was not our mistake. We specifically ordered the mentioned dish and we were not told that was no longer in their menu. The pools are beautiful, however they must have regular maintenance - they were damaged by the passing time. Should the price get lower (we spent over 8,000 R$ for one week) it might be worth going back, otherwise, we won’t recommend it .

This place is possibly one of the best accommodation you can get at Morro de São Paulo -BA BRAZIL Very charming with special attention to details. It may look a bit pricier compared to others at first, but the difference was certainly noticed. We had some plumbing problems with our room when we arrived, but after trying to fix it with the help of Vivi from the reception, we got a diferente room and everything was beautiful after that. She surely turned the bad situation around and captivated our loyalty. Our special thanks to Juliana, Vivi and Nai and kudos to the entire team that keep this beautiful place running. We definitely recommend this place!

Great service, beautiful and comfy. Owned and managed by a Portuguese family, Minha Louca Paixão is a great “pousada” in Morro. Gym, pool with ocean view, great restaurant and food. Restaurant managed by a Portuguese Chef. Special tks to Nai, who took care of my family every morning during breakfast and introduced me to a wonderful chocolate tart. Thank you Nai!

Excelente pousada, atendimento top, funcionários educados e capacitados, excelente estrutura e de bom gosto, duas piscinas, uma com borda infinita, pé na areia, excelente localização no começo da terceira praia, quartos confortáveis.

Camas grandes, com ótimo colchão e roupa de cama , adorei o cuidado com a higiene da mesma.Os banheiros são bem espaçosos com 2 chuveiros cada. Nos quartos a melhoria poderia ser : mais espaço para malas (so tinha armário disponível no banheiro do meu quarto, no quarto dos meus filhos tinha armário no quarto mas nao tinha no banheiro) Funcionários muito cordiais. Limpeza boa. Café da manha delicioso, variado e de qualidade. Restaurante excelente. Pousada muito tranquila, sem barulho apesar da grande.proximidade com a badalação. Ponto negativo a piscina de borda infinita apesar da vista maravilhosa está precisando urgentemente de manutenção .

Melhor pousada e restaurante que já visitei. Eu e meu namorados caímos em um golpe, e mesmo a pousada e restaurante não tendo qualquer culpa pela situação, nos ajudaram a resolver da melhor forma possível. Era um momento muito especial para nós (ficamos noivos), e a sensibilidade da gerência em resolver nossa situação de tornou tudo ainda mais especial. Fomos muito bem recepcionados e acolhidos. A gerente e a dona são pessoas muito humanas, não temos palavras para agradecer tanta hospitalidade. Além disso tudo, a pousada tem vários ambientes muito agradáveis, localização ótima, piscina com borda infinita de frente para o mar, o melhor café da manhã, camas e quartos muitos confortáveis, uma qualidade incomparável! Sem dúvidas voltaremos mais vezes e indicamos para todos!

Pousada maravilhosa em todos os aspectos!!! Irei recomendá-la para todo mundo, de verdade. A piscina é perfeita, o café da manhã excepcional, a higiene impecável, a cama parece que te abraça de tão confortável, as massagens do spa são maravilhosas, a comida do restaurante é uma delícia, e TODOS os funcionários em TODOS os ambientes da pousada fazem questão que os hóspedes se sintam em casa, super acolhidos. As camareiras deixam biscoitinhos no quarto quando vão realizar a limpeza do local, e na noite anterior ao nosso check out eles deixaram até mini chandon, com duas taças e um bilhete agradecendo a nossa escolha pela hospedagem. Super atenciosos!! Juro que tudo lá é perfeito, até a experiência que eles proporcionam no banho, com produtos l'occitane. PS: eles tem um vestiario (também com produtos loccitane, secador de cabelo e etc) para uso após realizado o check out. Assim dá para aproveitar até mais tarde a piscina da pousada!! Saí completamente apaixonada ❤ Pontos negativos: TV não é smart e também não permite espelhamento de celular. O quarto em que fiquei também era escuro, mas nada que atrapalhasse muito.

Pousada muito bonita e bastante confortável. Porém ocorreu um fato desagradável no check-in. Embora eu estivesse só com minha irmã, reservei uma suíte quádrupla, pois queríamos 2 quartos. Ao realizar o check-in com a recepcionista Amanda ela, além de em um primeiro momento não ter sido muito agradável, nos colocou em um quarto simples, provavelmente mais barato do que eu havia reservado. Como sou bem viajada, retornei e solicitei o quarto correto. Estavamos cansadas, com fome e tivemos que esperar por minutos o preparo do quarto. Eu fiz a reserva com 2 meses de antecedência e acho improvável a pousada não saber previamente os quartos que seus hóspedes reservam. Ah, eu estava com minha irmã e sou negra. E quando no check-out a mesma recepcionista, um pouco mais agradável, me perguntou se eu era Baiana. Mas sou mineira.

Das Hotel liegt ein paar Meter vom Rummel weg. Hat man aber ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Pools bzw. des Restaurants, wird man den ganzen Tag mit überlauter Musik zugedröhnt. Unverständlich. Die Zimmer sind gross, karg und entsprechen nicht mehr den heutigen Erwartungen. Teilweise gut unterhalten, teilweise renovationsbedürftig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, abgesehen von einer Person an der Reception, die sehr geharnischt reagierte, als ich mich weigerte mir ein Plastikband an das Handgelenk zu verschweissen. Sie drohte mir mit allerlei Unannehmlichkeiten, die natürlich nicht eingetroffen sind. Die Betten sind gross und bequem, die Kissen leider mit Schaumstoff gefüllt. Das Restaurant ist gut, überteuert und laufend sind Fressalien ausgegangen. Bald hat es keinen Butter ohne Salz mehr, keine Hamburger, keine Eiscreme, keine Milchshakes und es war erst Freitag. Leider war die Livemusik so laut, dass eine Unterhaltung am Tisch kaum möglich war. Die Küche war zwar erstaunlich gut, leider dauerte es sehr lange bis geliefert wurde. Der Pool ist sehr schön, aber renovationsbedürftig. Insgesamt ist die ganze Insel überteuert, aber lebhaft und schön. Leider am Wochenende sehr viele Tagestouristen.
