Springlands Hotel

We just spent our last day of our vacation in this elegant and beautiful property. The location was ideal for Kilimanjaro, not so far from the airport and close to Moshi town. The staff made our stay special with their close attention and friendly demeanor. Their smiles were infectious and they were attentive to all our needs. I loved the spacious room with a comfortable King sized bed that felt so so good after days of sleeping on the camping mat, a hot shower with lots of water, shampoo was heavenly. My wife went for a massage at the spa as I spent the afternoon by the poolside which so relaxing, lazing in the sun after the grueling trek with mojitos from the bar. Dinner at the restaurant was great and we enjoyed the great ambience of the place. All in all Springlands was fantastic!

I recently stayed at the Springlands hotel prior to a trek on Kilimanjaro. I had a very comfortable stay, and the staff were super friendly and helpful all the time. When I arrived in the middle of the night, they offered to cook me some food before I went to bed. When I slept through breakfast the next morning and woke up at 11, they still offered me breakfast as well. At the date of check out, I had to leave by bus in the evening. They let me stay in the room the whole day without any extra charge - of course due to availability in the hotel. These are examples of the service that this hotel offers, despite it being outside their own guidelines. I felt very welcome here, and I think the staff did a great job!

I recently spent two nights at this hotel, one at the start of my safari and the other at the end with my daughter. We arrived from Kilimanjaro airport very early after a long flight. Our room was ready for us. It was spotless if a little tight for space. It had 3 single beds. It would be incredibly small for 3 people. The food is normally buffet but it was à la carte for us as there were so few staying in the hotel. It was just at the end of the very long rainy season. It is an ideal location for start of safari or indeed if you wish to climb Kilimanjaro. Security is excellent at the property. It has a very rekaxing pool area and many different outdoor seated areas. The jewel in the crown for this hotel is the amazing staff. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. Special mention for Zuby. She organised a trip to waterfalls and coffee experience for us at very short notice.

Springlands Hotel in Moshi is the perfect spot to kick off a safari adventure! Located in a charming town with lively markets and amazing views of Kilimanjaro, it’s got everything to make you feel right at home. I love starting her, the poolside is super relaxing, massage services are a treat, and the food schedule is set up to fit all kinds of arrivals. Plus, it’s a convenient distance from the airport, so you can settle in comfortably before the safari fun begins. It’s the ultimate starting point for an unforgettable journey!

Great hotel and base for our recent adventures in Tanzania, great staff who are so helpful and cannot do enough for you, we had to book in and out the hotel on 3 occasions and had 3 different rooms but the whole process was carried out smoothly. Thanks for great memories

Massive scammers paid $80 USD per night, I was put in a room to share with 3 others. No room for your bag shower didn’t work just had to was under a tap, no hot water. Room for $320 per night was appalling more like a hostel. To share with people I don’t know just from the group. Left one morning to go out for breakfast found out at end of my stay breakfast was included but no one told me. Was told one dinner was included as the others in my room didn’t pay but they made me pay and said it wasn’t yet we all paid the same. Tried to got to town one evening for a coffee the guard wouldn’t let us leave I had to speak to reception to tell them finally agreed to let me out. They said you are not going into town for dinner are you? They did not want you to leave as dinner outside was a choice off a menu and less than half the price of the dinner provided ( without choice) in the hotel When hiring gear they tried to charge you for a black plastic bag to line your duffle bag you already paid for which was supposed to be waterproof, equipment was broken
